YOu people don't understand, how fair would it be to Naniwa, if it weren't for the extended series, that he could have gone 24-0 until then finals then lose 2 out of 3 and be 2nd place? He needs to be awarded this sort of advantage, he deserves it, as everyone who comes out of the winner bracket in any tournament. The new England Patriots won 18 straight games couple years ago, lost the super bowl IN A 1 GAME STRAIGHT UP FINAL. No bullshit about "Well we won more games this season so we really won" Extended series is nonsense, and makes MLG look Bush league. | ||

You mean where there are drops and idle units all over the place and inefficient micro? Yes in BW you can outplay the other player purely with multitasking and apm, in SC2 you cannot, Protoss can be managed with near perfect efficiency late game with 150 - 200 apm and Terran can't. This isn't a balance complaint, I play protoss, this is just the way it is. | ||

I think it's a much better concept than automatically awarding someone a bo5 series lead since they're from the winners bracket instead of the losers bracket. In this particular case its OK, but only because Nani has not lost a single game and Kiwi is coming from the loosers bracket and has allready used his "2nd chance". Its not OK however like when TLO met EGincontrol, they both had used up their "2nd chance", its kinda ridic that EGinc would start with a 2-0 lead; it should be even playground at that point. | ||

They could meet up together in the LB and that's when the extended series would come into play. | ||
