If a game is competitive/entertaining I think most people would prefer to watch it, result already spoiled or not(unless the tech issues with broadcasting a live game are fixed by then, we'd obviously prefer a live game to even the most epic of replays).
Day[9] and djWHEAT make it entertaining, also I don't necessarily know the results because I haven't been paying attention to the players I don't care about (anybody not on EG/ on Liquid/named Naniwa)

I do believe that it is a joke, considering he said he would get a satellite truck for MLG.
