It is more going for double forge upgrades and getting Storm on 2 base is a risky build.

It was fun watching Grubby win some of those fights where he was behind in unit counts, but Grubby got straight out macroed there.
GG, I hope Grubby can turn it around.

Yep, Colossus with double forge is so much better.

Sorry, but DDE just had better macro, and Grubby's micro slipped tons of times. He warped units within firing range of a giant bio-ball multiple times. Don't get into OP/UP talk.

I'm sure Grubby already got to his goal here in MLG Dallas, can already see he is going to be real threat in next events and NASL. (Not to say he's going to lose this, they are very evenly matched!)
Grubby FIGHITNG!!!

DDE's macro is pretty terrible but otherwise he seem pretty good.
obvious troll is obvious? his macro is what won him the game.

does Storm benefit from attack upgrades?

Grubby went for so high tech, both DT and HT, with 3/3 upgrade is not necessary at that moment

DDE is on Artosis's team
Hopefully Grubby gives him a run for his money next game...

No. 2base templar was unplayable WITH amulet. Don't act like the patch suddenly made a build unviable. 2base templar was NEVER viable

Grubby had a robo but it was only for 2 obs, did get DT and HT tech at the same time while going for quick 3/3 upgrades. Yeah.. definitly too much on only 2 bases.
|
Unfortunate base layout by Grubby. With those 2 warp gates powered and operational for their full intended duration, he would've held dde's first push more decisively with more units. Without the units that his build should've afforded, his survival was far more cost ineffective.
|
Grubby stayed gateway heavy for way too long. Have to at least have a few immortals against all those marauders.
I think attempting to go to HTs on two bases rather than robo units likely lost him the game.
|
Grubby got out-macro'd, sniping that nexus definitely sealed the deal too.
|
HTs just don't get the job done against marauders. Need colos.
