Things work a lot differently in Korea than the North American ladders. Harassing and drop micro, etc. I understand. But it seems like most people on here consider macro as just building up to that deathball, which is even more boring for me than 2 rax all in because with the 2 rax, intense marine stutter stepping is required. Other than that, yes I agree macro games (with harassing throughout the entire game) are preferable.

I am referring to this thread that was created, http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=191636 what is wrong with this thread? or you just mad for no reason? No one was making a thread this was very clear, they even had to close the day2 thread ( http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=191311 ) due to people spamming for a day3 thread. I apologize I had to work and could not finish the OP as soon as the matches finished, I updated the last 4 matches 6 hours late, if you can't handle it, try the google.

Usually additionally to godlike harass and drops, in BW long macro games we see constant fighting, be it for the center of the map, for some expo, whatever, there are large battles all over the map not just small skirmishes. Players are just all over the map with huge amounts of units dying all the time and getting instantly replaced by insane macro skills. SC2 hasn't reached this point yet, but I'm sure it will ![]()

The warning is silly considering the circumstances imo.

It's pretty simple really, there's thousands of people on TL who can make thread, don't take it upon yourself to make a LR thread if you're just going to leave halfway through, and then defend yourself by restating that very mistake.

Sadly although there were thousands of us who could make a thread, Game 1 was already halfway through but there was still no LR thread... half a thread is better than no thread... Yes OP didn't do a perfect job but I still appreciate his efforts, seeing that it's his first time (?) doing this :| (Btw, bold the winners names instead, quote the Day 1 LR thread to see how the other OP did it if you're not sure...) Sure he had to go halfway, but a mod could just help out this once? (see page 85) It's not like the OP created this thread waaaay before anyone could and left it there halfway... I believe more people benefited from his efforts than "omg first post not updated"

I also like the Strike-Out Effect on players who have lost.

That only iterates how pathetic the situation was. There are thousands of people who can make threads and no one did. We basically had no where to talk about day 3 20 minutes into the game because the mods closed day 2 thread telling people to make a day 3 thread. This guy actually made it possible for you to voice your complaints. He's 6 hours late with the update and yeah obviously that's not a good thing but he's not the guy who usually makes these threads but I'm glad he did for the people who were tuning in live. I don't believe the warning is justified.

But the mods are right to warn you. If they allow a bad LR thread, then the next LR might be crappy as well, without the circumstances where nobody wanted to make a LR thread. Overall I am glad you did, and you probably made a couple 1000 people enjoy the semi finals even more.

I guess Korean are really slow on the uptake and ppl are QQing about the JokeTossDeathball really? watched Day9 daily lately MassQueens are GOOD and beat Deathballs so easily. normaly you can go Ultras or BLords and these units never die with Mass Queens healing them. now in this Game not only did Kyrix sit arround with his units not doing any attacking and just let the Toss mass up but he had so many Corruptors too not only could have MassQueen Heals have helped their greatly but MassQueens also can atk either Vray and Collosus with good anti Air Atk. so yeah Toss Deathball not really learn your game before qqing. ppl need to treat the queens like a actual Unit not only some support Caster for Larva Inject. Queens are great Tanker have lots of HP and the Spell to heal that right up to Top it of MassQueens denys any sort of AirPlay from the Enemy. ppl have not learned to go MassTemplar Feedback or MassGhost EMP against it yet.so exploit that. Thought Koreans who are always praised as Game Inventors would be the first to pick that up but I guess not. also you can get Queens constantly remember Z always has some Overmins that get usually dumped into a early MacroHatch get more Queens. maybe its intended Z is perfectly fine.
