If Boxer had done something like that people who be jizzing themselves over how godly he was. But Inca does it and "OMG SC2 SUCKS ARGLE BARGLE"

Actually this Cheese from Inca is one of the safest builds you can do in PvP. And i think in PvP there wont be less cheese with better maps, its just the matchup.

agreed the 3 gate proxy all-in into losing 3 gates into winning that game somehow lmao
or doing the cannon rush not on a zerg player but on a protoss player

That was so hilarious and so sad at the same time.
Prior to the match InCa: The past few games have not been fun to watch. I want to show more entertaining games sanZenith: Two seasons ago I lost 2 games in 10 minutes. I hope to show a better performance.
In the match, InCa proxies gate/forge and the game is over in 3minutes.

honestly, pvp is without a doubt the most infuriating and idiotic matchup ever. of course "entertaining" in a pvp series is going to be a whole bunch of cute cheeses (like we just saw inca do) and rush builds that become tense micro and timing struggles. don't be surprised to see san lose this way, i highly doubt that he would've beaten inca in a straight (if there is even such a damn thing in pvp) game. i'd rather see this cheese pulled off than a 4gate vs 4gate or 4gate vs 3gate robo build order loss (cough choya vs tester), at least you're not facepalming through it.

Its a legitimate strategy when you need a win - there is a lot of money on the line and I am suprised we haven't seen more of this. Ideally on SP that should be SCOUTED but in the end, gg InCa, bad luck sanZenith.

The ironing is delicious.

PvP is all about scouting your own damn base before your gateway is up. But to let a pylon, a gate and a forge to complete without checking the smoke area ... PvP can be just brutal man .. hope SanZenith loses a longer game to MC.

Because it was fucking boring to watch.

What are you talking about, Inca has probably the best chances right now to beat MC in a PvP, his PvP is sick good even when he doesn't cheese. I really hope both MC and Inca go 2:0 so that we can see that match.

To be fair, that was still more interesting than most pvp games.

and it is with people like this mentality that are ruining sc2 and making people go back to watching BW

Oh most people appreciate a good cheese but they're just frustrated with the proliferation of it in the game even at this level. Unless July does it, then it's an epic strategy.
It is obnoxious for games to end that fast, from a spectator view :/

I disagree.
Bigger maps = longer rush distances = you benefit more from going a macro build.
Of course warp gates kind of contradict that, as there will probably still be that 4warpgate pylons all over the place deal, but we haven't seen that forever in the GSL, partially because I think people are just dealing with it better, and once the person rushing has a lower army count, he basically loses.

What's with all the Inca hate? Was it so wrong of him to go for something other than 4 gate in PvP?
|
I dont mind that he cheesed, just the look on sanZeniths face made me feel like when I lost a tournament that I had hyped when I was like 10
