But to be serious here, because we have seen this circle go round and round a million times already. MVP had been doing builds that countered the typical ways zerg play ling/bling/muta and has the timings down when to push + good micro and positioning. Zergs will need to analyze this and alter their builds slightly to find the weakspot timings to punish this play.

if the game was just "counter units" it'd be a really bad game of rps at high level, bw has seen the same compostions for years more or less, it's the subtle things that matter.

How is Idra one of the best zergs in the world? I would go as far to even say hes pretty unproven in the world scene for sc2

done just as well as mvp in gsl and won international tournaments
hes not some magical player
the game is broken

Fair enough. You said the problem with zerg is its early game. How did he abuse early game on scrap?

As a zerg I really have no idea how you are supposed to beat marine tank like that, seriously, it's freaking ridiculous. God the baneling unit completely fucked zerg in this game. So disappointing to see Idra ahead in food all game long and then a small group of stimmed marines kills double the amount of mutas, ridiculous. I really want to see a terran come and tell me how you are supposed to stop that, it seems like zerg's have tried every possible unit composition to no avail.

Sry but no koreans compete in MLG so I wouldn't really call it a true representation of an international tournament. Its more like USA + a few europeans. He for sure is the #1 foreigner and maybe I was a little harsh with my comment

He's saying that the Zerg built the most ideal composition to combat the T. Being up on econ and all still didn't matter.

yes but the terran also had the most ideal composition for that part of the game.. and he didn't do any mistakes as far as I could see; he defended harass stationed tanks and attacked before idras extra bases kicked in; leapfrogged and spread marines really well to dodge most of the bling shenanigans, picked of tumors; the whole works.

there are no "counters" that are supposed to work 100%, else they'd be broken.

well since mvp is probably the biggest prospect to switch to sc2 yet you can also ask if it's the other way round?

Fair enough. You said the problem with zerg is its early game. How did he abuse early game on scrap?

i said A problem is early game. every stage of the game is in terran's favor, but so few terrans actually take advantage of it beyond the early game that its pointless to try to make those points so i just talk about the early game, where its more visible. when terrans play for the mid game what just happened happens. and if terran ever needs to/learns how to play the late game you're gonna see literal 200 supply armies of thor tank marine viking that are actually invincible, with pure mule econ running bases with pf's behind it.
