i think idra lost cause he got greedy and overdroned too much in the last game.. i don't think he got "outplayed" as much as some people say...
he showed how good he is in game number 2, and people saying he isn't one of the best zergs in the world are just lol, because taking a game on steppes against mvp just proofs that he indeed is one of the best

Close positions are simply unwinnable vs competent terran because as a zerg you can never be ahead- if terran scans you and sees that u made units he simply does nothing and is automatically ahead. If you made drones he goes out and kills you.

Stop taking the close positions as an excuse. He just didn't commit to units as much as he should have. Man maybe it really isn't the best idea to go for 2 base-play on met close positions. I'm sure he could have done more dmg with some one base bling action MAYBE going for second hatch when feeling save.

Blizzard really needs to get rid of Steppes and make close position metal impossible. ZvT balance is fine but the map balance definitely isn't.
