It feels like the ground distance on close positions metalopolis is even shorter than steppes of war. 2 rax pressure puts zerg so far behind just trying to deal with it while mules keep the terran economy going really strong.

You could say the same about steppes of war... obviously wasnt the case for IdrA or fruitdealer.

Positions didn't help, but even I thought that he should have morphed some banes when he pulled those lings back. He droned far too much, didn't adapt to the map and positions, gg mvp

wouldn't his initial game setback been much less had he gone pool first? no reason to go hatch first and lose lotsa drones and zerglings defending it when pool first could give a very similar eco.

Getting through the GSL is more about the maps you get than your skil level it seems. Idra should switch to quake live..

I also stated "Or get better maps" which would insist that they should get maps where luck doesn't give one player a huge fucking advantage. Chance shouldn't ever be a huge component to competition.

Maybe if he'd open pool first instead of Hatch ffs. Was the same with 5 rax reaper. hatch first is asking to be attacked, which he was which put him behind, and he still played greedy and was punished for it. 15 hatch needs to die a death, you'd think with all these zergs being eliminated they'd try something different. Short rush distance.. 15 hatch. >< so annoying to see.
