According to kgbanswers; A nit in poker is a tight-passive player that avoids confrontations. A nit is also known as a rock.

is it ridiculous to say that cheese is part of the game and if your BO/micro/strat cant hold off a cheese why should we be mad.. it seems pretty legit; if you hold of the cheese you are significantly ahead.. if u cant hold off the cheese you lose.. sounds like RTS to me..
also.. $87k.. id be cheesing all day if it worked

Artosis would answer you that Scrap is pretty balanced for all races while Novice Steppes of War tends to favor terran ! :D
And I would poke him with my finger very creepily.

I mean, he's decent but he really hasn't shown me anything amazing yet. Remember that Leenock is still just a mid-level player and Clide lost to him completely straight-up. I really don't think Clide is as good as people say. Really hasn't impressed me at any point. I completely agree. I got flamed to bits for it last time he got eliminated though. But if you really are that good, you should not lose to a Zerg who isn't top 10 zerg when you get two very good TvZ maps to open up. Clide is extremely good...he is not overhyped in my opinion...how he managed g3 is remarkable and unbelievable...from way behind to bouncing back a bit and all of his little moves were so sophisticated and complex that it takes a couple seconds to figure out why and then when you do, you are astonished...guy is legit Then you realize his opponent actually made tons of mistakes and he'd have lost to a better Zerg much faster. Leenock actually had really bad macro the entire game. Yup I agree, his macro didn't impress me at all. I feel Clide played much better than Leenock that game. He made much fewer mistakes than Leenock... but his one mistake (not scouting greater spire or attacking until too late) cost him the series. Yeah but you have little mistakes and you have big mistakes. Like not forcefielding your ramp (sangho) one big mistake can cost you a game.

You guys need to realize something- there's a distinct difference between tournament play and ladder play. The fact that Artosis consistently adds in his input from his ladder experience kind of adds to the false perception that you have to constantly play macro games...it's also about mind games. Now Hyperdub has basically gotten into Max's head, he's going to be terrified to 14hatch and he's up a game. I think it's a brilliant move, Hyperdub knows the proper times to cheese- hence cheesing in game 3 against TLO in season 1. Don't bash a player that knows what he's doing.
And yes, I know the zerg already 14hatched on scrap. But he was still scared of the threat.

Maybe transform harass with his vikings after most of the broodlords were killed. Banshees or BCs and even ravens would've really helped, but there was just no gas to be found. He might have produced a few too many tanks. He didn't have the infrastructure to just pump BC's/Banshees. Even if he had, BC's are trash. And banshee's don't kill fast enough(ultras) Stacking like 3 PFs in the middle corridor and taking half the map is IMO extremely strong, you can kill the broods with Vikings if they try to poke at the PFs and your siege tanks can deny their expansions whereas they can't do anything to yours.
Being unprepared for the Broodlords had Clide way on the back foot which made it hard for him to really do anything other than hold on for dear life. The game pretty obviously didn't go as planned, though I do agree mid map splits can be good for Terran on shakuras. Building 3 planetary fortresses and planting them mid map is something you can only really get away with when you've put yourself in some kind of advantage or are at least comfortably even. The game went on so long I guess it's kind of easy to forget Leenock basically ravaged Clide's attempt at a strong mid game timing push.

6 food of ranged units should lose to 5 food of melee units? What?

Losing a long macro game is 10x worse for your psyche than to an early rush or cheese. Knowing you had 30+ minutes to win a game and still couldn't do it is demoralizing. You'll replay all of the moments you thought you were ahead or could have done this or that differently.

10 lings = 250 minerals 6 marines = 300 minerals
workers are mainly for surrounds/meat shield.
All this shows is that marine micro can beat ~cost of lings.
