Day1 had much better games.

Day2, overall disappointing. When I saw the marine all in game 1 vs haypro and in his production tab all I saw was drones agh...so sad.

You can clearly see the metagame evolution compared to GSL2. Protoss and terran know they have to punish zerg greedy 14 hatch with either early pressure (even cheesy stuff like cannon rushes or SCV semi-allins) or fake early pressure followed by an unexpected timing push or a FE. I'm quite liking this.

Yeh, when we see it on this way, doing 1 base allins like HongUn does since GSL S1 is much better. After all, he achieved code s with only 1 base allins.

Except of course you can avoid getting owned like Naya did by not going hatch first on close positions. HongUn deserved the win because his opponent was bad.

Except protoss/terran FE after they have unit production ability, except for maybe 14 nexus which can be risky.

Cause maybe he feels entitled to a 14 hatch, a Simple drone patrol at the bottom of the ramp would have stopped that
