Seems very strange, maybe protoss players haven't found a good and solid strategy to fall back onto?

The tie breaker was going to be favored for someone.

Koreans never do loser picks. I think that XC-Meta-Shakuras may have been better than scrap. or even sands or temple

Slows the process down? What maps were used for the last season qualifiers, could it explain the lack of toss this time around? edit: Shakuras should have been in there. For some reason forgot about it but it seems more balanced than even metal because there is less spawn variability.

His twitter seems bugged (shows stuff typed 9minutes ago for like 9 hours now). Anyway, his name is nowhere to be found on gomtv ( http://www.gomtv.net/news/272/0 or http://www.gomtv.net/news/267/0) so in case he competed I don't think he qualified. Cheers btw, first post for me ![]()

What this statistic is missing is that we've run through a couple of patches and a lot of metagame changes in the meantime. Though for the variety and entertainment I wished to see a more balanced bracket. I think what made GSL2 in the end a bit less entertaining was the pure TvZ matchup row. Seeing this makes me doubt that it will be any difference in this 3rd season, 1 or less P in the Ro8... Its true that discussing balance issues at this state of the game, where it is already surprisingly well balanced excluding some minor issues, is very very hard. It could also be a leak of Protoss idols who show off strengths and weakness of a solid P play and how to use it. Time will tell...

Come on. If there is a God, these brackets will be found to be false. EDIT: God exists. Proof: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=169332 Look at the order of the players listed here and then check the order of the 2nd half of the listed brackets. They are identical. I doubt Gom is going to leave it like that.

Go with something like DQ, Temple, Metalo. But their choice might force Blizzard to update the map pool, which is good in itself.

![]() 2:2:1 ratio !? are you serious!? I've always thought the game was fairly balanced and I still think so but man... this is depressing. Has T and Z innovation really soared that much higher than the collective minds of Aiur!? This is deeply disturbing to me, I would love to see something more balanced in terms of player count because to be entirely honest this makes me somewhat jaded and disinterested in S3 GSL :/ *cries* what is going on my brothers!? ![]()
