Regarding the whole live vs. recorded issue. Really, the WORST case scenario is what were seeing is 1 hour behind. Aside from that one random bracket getting the huk/loner game results right were not being spoiled anymore so far so it's basically considered live.

I just LOVE how the ''pre-recorded'' conspiracy theorists just collectively shut their mouth. Thank you very much to the guy that provided the proof. Jesus.

ATTENTION: EVERYONE WHO IS SAYING THIS IS NOT LIVE!!!!!!!

I texted my friend at 5:43PM PST. He replied at 5:44PM PST.

I said this: How is the sc2 tournament going? Anyone playing right now?
He replied: Huk vs Loner just finished.

I would say this gives me good reason to think it is live.

ty

weird that that one brackets page was able to predict the future though

they probably have that german octopus from the football worldcup that predicted all the games!

These breaks are awful. Have the casters go over some replays, or show the crowd, or do an interview... SOMETHING

what you might wanna check again lol

Tyler's right, wtf is this Kiwi is the best Protoss in North America shit? Kiwi is clearly number 2 after Incontrol. Then probably Huk, Suggy, TTOne.

Incontrol is the best protoss in NA? What have you been smoking and where can I get some?

I was gonna say, the terms "best Protoss," "North America" and "Incontrol" do not belong in the same sentence. I didn't even know Incontrol was P, he's such a nonfactor in the pro scene.

hahahah get em! you are well informed newbie!

hahah I love how you say that and your pic is an hammer. go and stump him Incontrol!!

Huk is terrible. I don't know why fans on here keep criticizing GSL for being poor quality and referring to tournaments like MLG, knowing that best of those guys would be lucky to get into GSL's round of 32.

Terrible play.

This.

Same with the whole TLO story, hyped to kingdom come but ever since the terran nerf he's done what exactly?

It's just a simple fact that asia > rest of the world in sc2 aswell, people will start realizing this soon when all their hyped players make ro32 at best. Only one who actually has a chance is idra because of his background and practise over there.

It's really hilarious when people say stuff like this. Compare the level of play at GSL ro64 versus MLG DC. MLG DC >>>>>>>>>>>>> GSL ro64 except for like 4 games. I mean seriously there were some embarrassingly bad matches @ gsl. Idra for example just flattened his opponent. Just wrecked.

First of all, you're comparing all of MLG DC (ie presumably the semis/ finals) to the Ro64 GSL? How does that even make sense? And honestly even then, MLG DC was mediocre level of play from everyone but Select.

Select was the most over rated player at the event. Making ONE SINGLE bo to kill al protoss players, and when he met a zerg he lost the whole thing in 10 minutes.

Yep, Slush beat SeleCT in ten minutes in the Losers' Bracket.

So the bad player is really the one throwing fireballs, not the one who can't figure out how to jump.

I don't get this, why do they need more than 10 minutes to get two players in the booth.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

When it comes to Tester, I watched some of games and was amazed. Huk, unfortunately, never showed anything remotely close so far.

Also, Tester performed in some good tournaments, including GSL1.

If Huk does anything like Tester, i.e. gets to top 8 of GSL3 and then loses in qualifiers of GSL4, I will still be praising him.

PS A lot of what I wrote comes from frustration with the sloppy play by Huk, actually. I was rooting for him, but some of his games just make me sigh. Even when opponent makes a blunder or two, it seems he finds a way to make even more mistakes...

Honestly why are these protoss players defaulting to colossus? Every terran player ever is used to seeing them and they no longer "hardcounter" skilled players. The benefits they give have been circumvented and the strats of Stalker Colossus, 4 gate rush to colossus are shrugged off by even the worst of terran pros.

Stop crutching on a unit. Force ghosts to counter HT's then move to colossus because then there are less marauders to kill your colossus. Because atm all I've seen is protoss losing to terran when the terran goes BIO. Isn't bio supposed to be weak to colossus? The unit and the strat has been used so much that so far this tourny cycle its proven to be totally defunct.

Heres hoping for more air/HT play in the next tourny.

If you go to the schedule tab, it shows the last scheduled match ending at 9:00pm PST.

That's in 3 hours.
