Fruitdealer is on another level, he will easily qualify.
I'm just hoping he doesn't knock out too many of my favourites in the process
Thats so shortsighted and so foolish to say.
This game is changing month by month, week by week, day by day, to say anyone is The Best is just foolish at this point in time. Everyone thought Tester was on another level, he'd easily qualify, same with even oGsTop.
If the meta game settles like in BW, then yes you can name someone like Flash as the best, but in a big bracket setting on a game that isn't settled, even Cool can lose, anyone can lose, don't be so foolish.
Even in a game with a frequently shifting meta game, having the previous champion of less than a month not qualify would be pretty... epic. I'm not saying it would be impossible, but it definitely wouldn't be a shoulder-shrugging event.
Props to Flint, if that report is true, it's really impressive to not only memorize key play styles of top gamers, but to also exploit them to the max.

I don't think Cool can lose to anyone that has not studied the style he plays. He is too good at scouting to be caught off guard, and that is what a lot of very good players, like Tester. Lack, which is why they can be beaten by a "relative" unknown
Terribly, terribly disappointed that we won't get to watch more of Tester this season. Was easily my favorite non-zerg player to watch (yes, even more than TLO). I wonder what he lost to. He just looked so invincible last season.

I feel kinda bad for him because no1 really is giving him any props for beating tester.

What I don't understand, is how did he know he was playing tester?
I heard they only used IDs when qualifying so no one knew who they were playing.

His mainforce banshee play was quite nice. It was quite amazing to see.

I don't think he knew - I think he studied the top players and how to play against them. (Which is pretty impressive.)

I really, really want those replays, so I can whine like crazy across the internet.
I can only find like one VoD Commentary thing on FlintZenith, the dude that took out TESTER here it is. Flint Zenith does have some mighty good skill. So it's not some fluke.

You've learned all that from watching him play ~30 games? Shit you should go play in Korea.
And you even said it yourself, you don't THINK cool can lose to anyone that hasn't studied his playstyles.
So you yourself now say he doesn't have a 100% chance to win.
Nobody here has a 100% chance to win, recent champion or not, the game is 2 months old. There will never be anyone wiht a 100% chance to win in any competitive game.
