its really funny the level of play in korea is so bad atm. every go4sc2 cup has much higher level play from the quarterfinals on. I think 80% of top foreigners could easily qualify for GSL if they flew over there...

Well considering all of these players are pretty much amateurs, semi pros, Warcraft 3 progamers (different play style), or were amongst the worst Starcraft progamers, its not too surprising that these guys aren't particularly good. I think Zergbong even lost a Bo3 against a slumping Stork (takes a bad player to achieve manage this) in the old GOM Classic.

Just because they're Korean doesn't mean they're automatically good. The best foreigners will still play better than the most generic Korean gamers. Idra is clearly more than good enough to bash anyone under SC1 B team level and I am inclined to believe most of these people are below that level.

I know some of these round of 64 matches aren't the best. But a top 64 foreigner tournament would have even worse ro64 games probably.

There are quite a few other foreigners that could of qualified for GSL if they went to Korea but you can't compare foreigner tournaments/skills to Korean just based off Ro64.

People really think, creep tumors and transfusing the queens would have saved Nestea from losing that game? The creep would have helped a little bit, but not significantly enough to put him in the lead... oh and yeah transfusing those 2 queens (If they had the energy, because both were just made, and also injected larva) would have stopped terran from moving those MM/tank Forces out...

If losing nat hatchery twice = handling the aggression on the highground, well okay

It doesn't matter if he lost it twice. He took a lot of mech down with him, and he had the expansion to the North anyway. He did all the proper responses, as opposed to getting flustered and doing stoping stupid (Or outright ragequitting) the way most people on the ladder are doing.

Yeah and did you see how far behind he ended up?

How far behind was he? He had enough stuff to take out every unit in Terran's army and force the drop to come back. He was obviously just fine. It's not until Terran stopped trying to do cute little drops and do an actual push that any real damage was done to Nestea.

Umm, because he was so weakened from losing his natural hatch twice that he had way too few stuff to defend the push.

He wasn't weakened. He had the third. He was so not-weakened that he did an attack and killed every siege tank, marine, bunker, and turret that the terran player had at that point. Were we watching different games? Or is this Zerg selective attention syndrome?

He lost every unit he had in that desperation attack, which was easily held off despite the Terran having 2 thors and 2 medivacs on the other side of the map. After that the Terran just went and killed the natural anyway, while also dropping at the 3rd.

What you're essentially saying is "hey, Terran being able to attack a Zerg expansion with zero resistance from a cliff is no problem because the Zerg can just attack head-on into a fortified position and sacrifice his entire army to keep the expansion alive for an additional 30 seconds (after which point it will go down anyway)!"

Even most of the top Terran players will happily admit that cliffing stacks the matchup in their favour on LT, why do you refuse to accept that?

If zerg had healed his hatchery twice, he would have had enough time for the mutas to come out.

If you are injecting on time AND spreading creep like everyone is saying he needed to do, you don't have the energy to heal too.

Eh, his baneling bust failed and was down in worker count and tech so the game was already over then.
