I'm not even sure what Zerg can do to stop Void rays. Void Ray just goes into his base and charges at a random building. Zerg needs like 3:1Queen ratio right then or a million Hydras(that suck at everything else) to defend vs them... Then there's ZvT and <_>

Why are people complaining about TTOne "all inning" when Slush pretty much did the same thing and only used his 2nd hatch for units and didnt tech? Seems like it was pretty much a 2 hatch baneling bust and people are blaming TTOne for going voidrays?

And what if the void rays charge on their own stargate . What is the zerg doing wrong then ?

If you have energy for transfuse, you're doing something wrong?

Seriously, if he had made a second queen he would have been fine. Slush got outplayed that game.

Fast tech to hydras is what I do when my oppononent goes 2gate into fast stalkers. I am not sure if slush could have done it but hydra would hve been very good in his situation.

you do know that hydras own all t1, t1.5 gateway units along with void rays and phoenixes right? so as protoss, either tech to colossi or die?

He only had 1 queen when the first void ray hit, and that was pretty much when he lost the game.

Not sure if zerg have anything to defend against anything

The only "macro" orientated Protoss players I know are Whitera and Tester. I was speaking with Whitera the other day after he double expanded in PvP and he said he prefers macro because "it tests your ability to control more than 1 group of units."
Totally true - that's why IEM had such awesome calibre. Dimaga having 4 different control groups to flank, fungle growth, and rip through entrenched Terran positions was just magical and incredibly awesome.

2 gate fake is grrraaaahhhhhhh. I hate facing it on the ladder. More protoss players should realize that just throwing down 2 gates and chronoboosting your first zealot can deny a Zerg his expansion.
Sad to see Slush out, but glad to see Protoss players doing well in a tournament.

What other zergs are better than Slush or Machine in USA? Players were invited by skill and not by race.

Build more than one Queen.
Problem solved.
The only reasons Slush lost that is he failed to 1) scout with an Overlord at all (which he was easily in the place to do) and 2) he refused to build a 2nd Queen when he was on two bases when he didn't scout and wasn't even getting a Lair or Evolution Chamber. Why take that kind of risk when you know what can happen?
