seems like T -> mass 1 type of bio unit, control it well -> win. What the hell is wrong with you people?
The fact that Idra invariably expands immediately and powers drones isn't a consideration at all? If this was Brood War a fast expand vs. rush would be considered a build order loss. Why is the complete predictability of Idra's play not taken into consideration here?

I'm with you on that.
Every single time "Look at that amazing micro!".. how hard is it really to kill 10 lings with 6 reapers and to 1-shot queens?

lol your wrong, just getting 4 roaches and keeping them on creep>reapers and then you dont have to spam larva on tons of lings
and its not like you cant switch back to ling production if you see maraudors coming to your base

idra saw the mass rax going up btw, a blunder by the commentators. He knew what was going down.

No. Strelok will have the same points and win loss difference as Idra, but Idra won the head to head, so he will advance I believe.

I don't think so, Demuslim would be 5:3, IdrA and strelok would both be 4:3. So I assume demuslim advances and then what's the next tiebreak? If it's head to head, idra would be 2nd.

yeah, idra was being very greedy by not putting down a roach warren, he was gambling that his micro would save him until his spire was up and it didn't.
that's why he gg'ed. he underestimated demuslim and was impressed.
|
I think Idra got a bit cocky after he realized the two were cross spawned. He expanded, didn't get a roach warren and went straight to spire. Unfortunate but as long as Idra keeps his cool, he can win.

People talking imbalance right now...
Its like a terrans refusing to build units that can shoot up when muta's are harassing...

they said that he wasn't 100% sure to go through, so ?

If Idra stayed on one base and went roach those 3 rax just make marauders instead. Then it's 2 base Terran vs 1 base Zerg.

this game was not won by imbalance, just by good execution of demuslim. IdrA could've won that with better micro (lost 2 queens hello?) and more lings!

Because there isn't anything else to do.
You need to fast expand against a terran to even have a chance.

Yeah...if u watch Korean replays EVERY terran goes the reaper build to start so zerg players have to counter accordingly. Idra just played very greedy and lost because of it.
|
"Strelok dancing in the storm" good one on the glhv.tv^^
|
To people who're saying IdrA should've gotten Roaches, the problem with that against this build is the Terran already has 3+ Rax w/ Tech Labs so they simply start pressing their D button instead of R and instantly have a giant counter to your Roaches for a quick push.

I think IdrA just got a bit too comfortable as he was on cross position, Demuslim saw that coming and punished him for it. Honestly Demuslim could go for a planetary fortress rush and if he won people would be whining about PF being OP.
|
the biggest reason for a reaper nerf is in 2v2/3v3/4v4.. its WAYYY worse then, because you have your partner to back you up with fast tech after you mess someone up.. (as a #1 diamond 2v2 team where I just reaper harass and feed my partner gas for his 2starport fast banshees, it dominates everyone with ease lol)
So yea, def need a reaper nerf.
