Or maybe that's it, terran pickers are inherently better at microing while zerg pickers suck at defending early game, preventing harass and scouting openings. :D
edit: seriously think about this, I guarantee you that in 9 out of 10 terran matchups the commentators will be nerdgasming all over terran micro lol. I don't know about that, but the part I 'praised' was the decision making from Naama, not the micro per sei. Great to be co-casting, hoping for more co-casts in the future. Yeah it's not exactly criticism. I mean it's possible terran in nature has more opportunity of impressive micro. I hope you get to co-cast more as well I enjoyed your commentary!

Don't like going hydras. But since he expands with 0 units defending and rushes raven, mutas are a complete waste. Impossible to slow play and take a third, since his expo is so early and so greedy, i'll never have enough to defend if I try to take 3rd and play passive.
Oh and did I mention MULEs are imba. Economic damage is a concept that doesn't apply to terran.
Would have won last game with infestors. Tried to make them at 3-4 different points in the game, only to realise towards the end I somehow failed at putting down an infestation pit. Still dont get why mutas are a complete waste? Raven is not very good vs mutas compared to how hydras fare. And mutas gives you map control. Raven is much better vs. Mutas than Hydras other than the fact that Hydras cannot run from anything. PDD shines big time vs. slow-firing Mutas as opposed to fast-firing Hydras.
Attack-run away with pdd > mutas.

Was most enjoyable. Overall the Viking Cup is one of the best tournament series in my opinion, high quality stream, pleasant casters and entertaining games too. Hopefully your tournament brackets start evening out too with the new patch, much more interesting to see zerg and protoss in there too.
And do some ruthless self-promotion on TL too, bump your thread whenever you're starting a cast. I think you missed like 1k viewers tonight because the TL calendar had some mixup (or maybe I was just tripping, could have sworn it showed the game for saturday evening earlier today) and the thread had no messages about starting a cast.

SwampZero: you are really bad at this game. SwampZero has left the game.

He said in the other thread about his zerg play that he would play terran in tournaments.
Edit: It is a sick game anyway. Thor canon vs bling ultra.

That was an awesome awesome game

Lol Kulas Ravine... Haypro forced to go Terran. That was an epic epic g2 though.

Holy cow!!!! Everyone MUST watch Morrow (T) vs Haypro (Z) game 2 NOW!
Drawn out game with quite a few mistakes, ok, but sooo entertaining! Desert Oasis was almost mined out by the end of the game. It took a few 200/200 vs 200/200 battles to achieve that. Seriously, that was a lot of fun. GG guys!
|
Yes that was an amazing game, hoping Haypro wins the bo3 now

Man... Haypro would've won G3 if he brought all his SCVs for the counter attack. Meatshield scvs w/ stim marauders behind = gg. I guess he isn't experienced enough with Terran yet to make that call.

Probably yes, but Morrow pulled a ton of scvs and had 2 tanks + full bunker up vs about 8 marauders, a bit harder to call. With SCVs, it'd be 100% win.
