I personally want the feature to have 3-5 marine variations that I can check on/off at my leisure, But for each unit! ( Much like the dt variation)

Let's look at the worst case, 4v4, each player with 20 custom skins (one per unit) Before, you had to load around around 60 models (20 for each race) and the relevant animations. With DotA 2 - like custom skins, you have to load around 160 (20 per players) with all their relevant particle effects and possible custom animations. In MOBA, you literally only have to pick 10 models, no matter what the players choose. | ||
