Parting vs Flash on Daybreak. You get the archives as soon as gas allows after you start charge and +2 armor.

Depends on what playstyle and what strategy you prefer and also strongly how your opponent playes. There really is no answer to it that would be correct in even 50% of the cases I guess.

It seems really powerful since Terran is safe 95% of the time after seeing a fast expand, so I can mix it into a Bo3 to surprise a likely unprepared opponent. Check Jangbi vs Flash on Akilon Wastes [PL R4 Khan vs KT]. Small recap of the build order used by Jangbi in this game: 9: Pylon 13: GATE 14: Gas 16: Pylon 18: Cybernetic Core 18: Gas 20: Zealot (to be canceled if no ebay block at your natural) @100% Cybernetic Core: Stalker, then WG, then MC Pylon Stalker (then 2 x Sentries) NEXUS Pylon ROBOT GATE x 2 @100% Robot: 2 x Immortal (CB) Gas at natural Jangbi pushed with 5 sentries, 2 Immortal, 2 Stalkers and 3 Zealots. Then he transitioned into double forge, TC, 3 additional gate then TA and Storm.

The gist of the build is 10 gate --> pressure with chrono'd out units --> get warpgate while doing this and then add 2 more gates. Stay on around 14 probes. Also general feedback on how viable this build might be in the future would be nice, as I've said I'm winning with it at the moment but wonder if it's just a meta thing, as is mostly destroys reaper openings. Here's rep if you're interested to see and I would be happy for any feedback ![]() Hey LardMaster, I decided to watch your replay hopefully I can help a little. First, I think your build order doesnt quite make sense, your gas is a bit early and your cyber isn't right after your gate so you end up floating gas. You can still chorno out 2 zealots and a stalker with a later gas., make sure to plop down a cyber right after the gate tho. Also, make sure to spend CB right away, in early pressure builds its really important to get your units out fast you end up floating like 70 energy which is bad. Additionally, it seems like the Terran player didn't really know what to do against your build as he was floating almost 700 minerals at the 5 min mark and even tried to block your natural with an eng bay, which leads me to believe that he misread your early gate as you trying to expand (not sure how). If he simply scouted you and put up a bunker behind his wall I think you would have had a lot more difficulties. He also forgot to burrow his first widow mine which would have probably resulted in you losing your first two stalkers. If you're having fun chronoing out early units then by all means keep doing it I just have a feeling it's going to stop working once you face more experienced opponents. Maybe try out a pressure expand build so you have something to fall back on if the Terran defends better (ie makes more than 5 marines the whole game haha). Something like: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=409210 or http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2_Gate_Pressure_Expand_(PvT) or for 1base http://www.gosubuilds.com/hots-protoss/hots-pvt/pvt-sages-blink-all-in/

Thanks ![]() ![]() Hey. I tend to open up 1 zealot 1 stalker + Mother Core, and I try to use these to walk straight to his base, if he reapers, I deal with it with my probes until second stalker gets out. With the Moco, Zealot, and stalker, I try to deal as much damage as I can. If he somehow doesn't have bunker up in time, I can do a LOT with just these 3 units. Behind this I drop a Nexus, 2 gates a forge and a twilight. If I deal damage, I double forge. If I don't, single forge. I then tech to HT's and use Chargelot Archons until I can get storm and some HT's with energy. I take my third whenever I can (It's hard to describe, depends on how you deal with drops / what your opponent is doing) and slowly make my way up to Collosus, as I drop a robo before third and get some obs out on the map. And then it's a standard Zealot, Archon, HT, Collosus PvT where you try to take good engagements and kill vikings with stalkers, dodge ghosts, feedback everything, and storm storm storm.... So you could try to do that instead of your 10gate.

I'm actually just tired of losing to the 6 medivacs, 2 dropping my main others hitting my third That's not exactly State's build. It is decent however if you have good control. Can be tricky though if terran figures out what you're doing and starts running in, burning forcefields and picking up without losing much. That's why you'll see players like HerO be extremely aggressive with their blink stalkers, trading shields for a unit here or there and delaying the terran pushout for as long as possible while getting double forge + either colossus or templar.
