I have marine/tank, I'm splitting marines, I'm focusing tanks on the banelings, but it doesn't matter because he can just make 1000000000000000000 more zerglings for 200 minerals. Perhaps you aren't putting enough pressure on the Z? Maybe you're not macroing well enough? We'd need a replay to be sure. Probably. I'm not really sure how to put pressure on, though- drops seem to be ineffective as speedlings can respond instantly due to their ridiculous speed on creep, and banshees (and drops =/) are totally negated by mutas.

How do you win TvP? I'm a diamond terran and this is looking ridiculously one sided right now. Early game you have virtually no advantage, Mid game toss starts to get strong, late game forget about it. HELP.

In lategame, you should be able to get a good number of tanks, some thors (so he has to micro his muta) and to secure a good defensive position.Ling Bling Muta isn't that good lategame when the terran has all that stuff as he can't pick tanks with muta, and his ground army will get shredded by your tanks

Give me a brief outline if your games, what were the biggest problems, and at what point you felt you were too far behind to win. I'll pm you back before tuesday if you're up for it.

Hi guys, could someone please analyse this replay for me? It's a TvP with a combo of quick VR's and Stalkers and I was left wondering how to scout this properly and what the right method of countering this composition was, I couldn't find a balance with enough marines for the VR's and enough Marauders for the stalkers. They had high ground vision as well, it was a very nasty play to fight against.
In short, what to do when I spot this?

His army is usually strong enough to beat my two rax and then he already has an expo over me. Do I expand as soon as I know what he's doing, tech up, or both? Anyone? I'm also not sure when to let up on the pressure, there will be times when I feel pretty good about attacking, he ffs, I die, then he charges my base and I just die. I feel like I don't tech fast enough to Medivacs but constant two rax pressure seems to drain resources a couple minutes longer than I would like

Can anyone give me a step by step for manual marine splitting? I just switched to terran and I can't even get past lvl 10 of the marine split challenge, do you select them and just randomly move command them somewhere or do you have to shift queue an attack move after the move command? In the marine split challenge map, select small portions and move command them into different directions. In real situations there will be times when you can select all your marines and a-move to make sure that the ones out of reach of the banelings are allowed to attack, and then resume splitting the ones closest to the banelings. NOt exactly sure what you mean by a move? like i split them then a move them back in?

Something ive been struggling against as a plat terran: zerg who two base allin with ling bling. Seems when we engage we take equal damage and then they simply remax on the spot and im unable to macro fast enough, this being nonstop ubit production on 2 base with 4 rax (one tech three reactor), two factory producing tanks and a reactored starport for medivacs.
How can i better fend this off and counter appropriately?

How can i better fend this off and counter appropriately? The answer is actually quite simple: don't attack. Check to see if he has a third. If he doesn't, be wary and take a third of your own. Move out just enough to kill creep and don't engage. If he's all inning, like I said he's already behind on Econ. If he's not all inning, your faux push just scared him into making pings instead of drones.
Also very important: wall off. If he kills you with a two base attack, a decent wall with sc s repairing should buy you enough time to get a couple tanks and marines out. As long as you don't straight out die to his counter you should at least be on even terms with the Zerg, even if you lose scvs. Just make a third orbital while all this is going on and focus on muling away and fixing your economy. just having one tank and a handful of marines behind a wall should be able to deter long bling from killing you, which you should always have if you're constantly producing and. It rallying units anywhere outside your base.
Even on maps with open. Naturals like metalopolis can be walled off as you expo. Turn it into a habit

rax CC or reaper FE
in TvT, which one is safer vs banshee/tank/rine all-in? tell me your experiences

I like reaper personally. I like to show them the reaper and force them to be a bit defensive. Engineering bay at 6 min means banshee should do no damage and with map control with reapers can spot tanks before they are in position. Pull svcs and win.

I usually reaper FE in TvT and as long as I pull workers I crush their attack. I have held similar strats with 1 rax FE but it seems to do more damage to me so they can easily stay in the game since its still relatively even.

Or, reaper FE with 1-1-1 speed reaper/hellion.

10 depot 12 rax 13 gas After rax is finished, make a tech lab and then a reaper. Some people just make one for scouting, some make up to three. Some people take dudes off gas after mining 175 gas (enough for a tech lab, a reaper, and starting combat shields). Reapers build slowly and don't cost many minerals. You will quickly bank up for a CC. Start your CC at 400 minerals.

Could someone please take a look at my replay? I'm really curious about the build I encountered, VR's with Stalkers, has anyone seen it? What would your advise be against it? The reay is inuded in my previpus post a few posts back.

I guess that depends on your transition, and what are the advantages of more reapers?
EDIT: What would be the proper way to transition into biomech, Marines, tank, medivac and possibly vikigns?
