I feel like the strength of colossi is hitting the terran before they've massed up vikings and if the spot it right away I feel like the robo bay is wasted since they can easily produce 2xVikings every 42s while a colossus take 75s (-10s x the amount of cb).
So basically, when a terran scouts your robo bay and it's finished - do you double the production with another robo, do you switch tech path, do you continue with the colossi but instead of saving all your gas for colossus, you throw some into stalkers?
Btw, there's no better feeling than cancel a robo bay after scan (at those time when it's building at the time of the scan) and put down a twilight council instead. Facing a bio army with a couple of vikings with your ground army with storm feels so good <3
Well I go collosi first every game and I don't feel concerned at all whether or not the terran sees I'm going collosus. I'm usually going for a fairly fast robo so by the time the terran has his first two medivacs (I rarely see a terran skipping medvacs to go straight into viking), I have my first collosus up and my second pop right before his timing with 2 medvacs. Then I just go for a third base while adding some collosus up to for while transitioning to templar. Only scenario where I instantly stop collosi prod is when I scout double starport.

PvT: day9 showed some cool build of SaSe in one of his recent dailies, i think i will stick to it.
Oh yea that is so neat build. Saw it on Day[9] but didn't actually pay attention, but recently watched it executed by MVPfinale (or was ot TAiLS???) an it was soo strong for terran to hadle. Does anyone have any replay available for benchmarks? Ty in advance. There is a replays pack: http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-replays/replay-packages/starcraft2-red-bull-battlegrounds-replays/Its from Red Bull Battlegrounds. You have to search in game for the replay on Ohana, QuanticSaSe vs Liquid'Taeja. Tytytyty. I'll find it.

I have been reading alot about ways to harass a zerg player early in the game (before the roaches are out). Trying to get the timings just right.
What do you guys consider the best way to harass the zerg player?
What i usually do is 4 zealots and +1 attack but roaches will be nearly out if i go for a FFE. I just can not seem to get the timings right.

Hey guys. I'm a silver Protoss player, and recently I've been struggling with fungal growth in PvZ. There have been times when I have been ahead of my opponent in supply and economy and I've still lost the game because fungal kills my entire ground army. How do I defend against it?

Replays would be needed, but generally both colossi and feedback are really good.

You can try a stargate opener, or if you have the micro for it keep chronoing stalkers and kiting his slow lings and queens. Both require good multitasking though. 4gate +1 zealot is another ok ish option, make sure you get the timing right and start your pressure around 8 minutes, anything after that is too slow.

Why do korean toss's go forge first instead of nexus first in PvZ even once they've seen the second overlord?

I know from personal experience at my level (plat) terrans will make vikings with or without seeing colo tech, since most toss will go for them most of the time. Depending on how late they hit the scan, it shouldn't matter. They need to mass up medivacs before they start viking production. If they just go right in to vikings without and medivacs, their bio will be fairly weak, especially if you can get them to burn stims prior to the full engagement

The timing is a bit of a problem. What i usually do is:
13 forge 16 nexus gateway probe 17 cannon 18 gas 2x cyber when gate finishes keep producing probes make 4 zealots out of the 1 gateway
But i keep doing something wrong. What are the optimal timings?

14 forge, 17 nex/gate/cannon/pylon works a bit better. Other than that, you might be cutting a few probes early game or something like that. Could you please post a replay?

I can't win PvP i just hate it so much. Just seems like such a coin flip or if you both go robo who has more colossus. i'm diamond and have almost wanted to auto-gg out of every PvP I get. i do 3 stalker rush and then usually go robo. and if they take a fast expansion i two colossus with range all in. tips? i don't know what else to do, i'm not confident in twilight or stargate ><

PvP
I'm diamond.
PvP, basically I suck at it. -.-
First If a guy does a good 4g, I can't beat it.
Second, in plat I always made robo and just massed immortals gateway units and that got me up to diamond.
Now I see multiple casters say doing twilight something into early robo is really normal play, it just seems like a lot of tech. I don't know what to do lol... I like get blink or something, try and do something with it... derp I just lose to everything... I like don't want to do just some robo something, I wan't to do the same as the pro players, but I don't know how!!!
What to make at what time or what to do after I get what I'm going after...
Third Like give me some knowledge about PvP when to expand or so (etc)... I am like 95% self taught player, so there is a lot of stuff I don't know, that I maybe should know...

you gota play with the other techs, each tech route has its pros and cons. Robo play tends to be really passive, unless your doing some kind of all in, so when they get a fast expand, it can be difficult to do anything about it because it takes a lot of time for you to get the appropriate number of immortals/colossus to actually be able to attack. If they expand, depending on which tech path they chose, you shouldn't really two colossus with range all in. Range upgrade takes forever to finish anyway and if they went stargate, your going to straight up lose because of the phoenixes.

Recently I've been finding it more and more difficult to take a 3rd base, either because I
A. Die to heavy aggression
or
B. Be overly safe and have them take their 3rd (or 4th if Z) a good few minutes before I take mine. O
Often I'll find myself only taking my 3rd when I scout theirs.
Can you guys recommend some good safe builds to take a 3rd and be secure, even against heavy Roach/MMM aggression?

I can't seem to find a B.O for a PvP Immortal Expand, can someone explain to me what opening should I go with and when should my expansion be put down? I usually go with Cecil's modern 3-Stalker opening, but I always find myself with a late robo (most likely because of inexperience and poor macro).
In PvZ, when I send my initial Probe scout to look around and start blocking the enemy's natural, what I find commonly happening is that opponents start to use the larvae they have to create quite a number of Zerglings. When he arrives at the front of my base, I usually manage to put down a solid wall consisting of a Pylon, a Gateway, and a Forge (F.E); however, I do not have time to warp in the initial Zealot to seal the tiny gap. Therefore, the Zerglings just swarm into my base and I am forced to pull Probes, which results in a massive loss of workers and a crippled economy. What should I do to prevent this from happening?

By "do not have time" I assume you mean "don't have warp gate yet".
Just make a zealot from your gateway as soon as it finishes and have it hold position in the gap. Alternatively you can completely wall off with another pylon (same cost, frees up building time for sentries) and then destroy it when you're ready to take a 3rd/attack.
Also your wall should in most cases consist of pylon, forge, gate, core.

Edit - woops, delete this

My wording might have been a bit confusing. What I mean by 'not enough time' is that the Zerglings arrive when my Gateway, Forge, and Pylon are all midway through completion. When the opponent does this, he does not take an expansion or a third. Neverthless, your advice makes sense.

Oh I see, so it's an early pool intended to punish you. Look at replays - is it a 6 or 7 pool, or a 10/11 pool?
Or is it because you have blocked their natural that they then produce a lot of lings? If you are worried about 6 pools, scout with the probe that puts down your 9 pylon.
Upon seeing your opponent not expanding and going for lots of lings, immediately wall off with pylons/gateways and get cannons as fast as you can. Often, this will be enough to force your opponent back and you can cancel some structures. If they get in, cancel your nexus and wall off your main's ramp. Then go for a one base push while expanding to pressure them.
Either way, if they make a lot of lings, they're not making drones. If you can keep making probes while the pressure happens, you'll be ahead, especially if it's a 6 pool. Often, when I get 6 pooled I give up on my FFE, wall off my main with cannons if necessary, then simply go into a 4 gate and I'll usually kill them because they simply won't have the economy to have enough stuff to deal with the attack.

Hey guys , here's a question that im sure alot of low tier players have in their heads . Do we keep to 1 build for PvZ ,1 build for PvT and 1 build for PvP throughout bronze-gold etc . or do we learn new builds? for example , do we just have to perfect FFE for pvz and 1gate expand for pvt or we should learn different build?cause to me , being a low tier player , its hard memorising different timings etc for diff build for diff race

In low level leagues BO doesn't really matter so much. What is far more important is hitting all the benchmarks of the build and get a solid macro foundation. So when your mechanics and macro are good you can easily adapt to new builds.
