I know that on Shakura's Plateau, your opponent never spawns above or below you. Are there weird spawn rules for other maps, too? Thanks in advance. No. That is the only one with limitations. The rest are anything goes (*bangs head)

1. Are there any pro gamers playing random in tournies? 2. If there is, what is/are their name(s)? (I would like to follow some of their games/replays to study their builds in the different matchups.) 3. Is there a link or replay of TLO playing with protoss? (I have seen him playing Terran and Zerg but never protoss)

Specificallly zerg players will send out 4 lings, and send them to 4 different locations deselect them one at a time so that they each all go to a different location. What is that keyboard shortcut? Well, if you have a group selected, and you shift-click on one unit (either on the map or on the bottom of the screen) that deselects it.

I've tried a lot of methods of micro, and I seem to always manage to kill my own units (because I launch the missle right under the raven to prevent them from running). This makes them very cost in-efficient and do a bad job at stacking, if they didn't do friendly splash, I think that TvP might be balanced...

Edit: Nerchio played random also. (I heard that most of the random players go usually for some all-in, but I don't know if it's really true.) 3. http://www.sc2rep.com/replays?page=1&s_race=&search=liquidtlo You'll find some here.

When I'm microing frantically, I sometimes click them by accident, which moves my camera waaaay off from what I was doing ![]() In game, go options -> gameplay and in User Interface disable "show alerts". On question of my own, is it possible to change hotkey for "queue command" (what is by default shift)? I absolutely can not find it in the "Global" section of hotkeys, is it somewhere else?

You should have Colossus to deal with Marauders, Stalker to focus the vikings and avoid the Colossi to be killed, and some zealots (chargelots are better) to avoid your stalker to be killed. Very simple.

Virtually everyone shift-clicks the group wireframe to deselect a unit and clicks the minimap in order to split off lings to xel'nagas. It could be that the cases you are thinking of either 1) the player does the motion quick enough you don't see the wireframe clicks or 2) the player doesn't have their cursor displayed on the screen.

No. Core actions such as smart action (right-click) and queue (shift) currently cannot be rebound.

Very simple. Bad advice. Against a heavy-marauder composition, colossi are not that effective. Marauders do not die quickly to colossi, and can snipe them very quickly. As a toss, do make more immortal and chargelot than you would normally do. Use Force Field to prevent kiting.

I asked a similar question about this on Battle.net a while back, and it seem like you cannot change "shift" to something else. I wanted to change the "ctrl". I hope i am wrong by saying: You cannot change these buttons currently (V1.3).

To clarify - everyone and their grandmother recommend 3gate sentry expand and I can see its benefits, but I am just not able to pull off a strategy that's absolutely dependent on FF usage. Honestly, I have no idea what to even do with the sentries against speedlings. If I try 1base, I get overwhlemed, but I have a hard time defending expansions, because speedlings are just everywhere and I can't ever kill them. I do enjoy epic games with T and P, but with Z, I either 4gate and have some chance, or just loose to their mobility and economical advantage. I am a long term gold leaguer and the state of my PvZ is quite demotivational for me to even play 1v1, when 1/3 of the games is alomst a sure loss.

In smaller scale battles, on an open area, and when you have few available forcefields, then yes your colossus army is not going to fare well against a heavy marauder composition. In other cases although marauders are better than marines against colossus, colossus still do just fine. I really wouldn't say there is a "best" way to deal with marauder viking, it all depends on your preference. There are many styles out there that can work - immortal/sentry/zealot, mass gateway chargelot/blink stalker, colossus/phoenix, even going colossus/stalker can work if you can use forcefields well and choose your battles wisely.

Having high APM is not a prerequisite for being able to use force fields well. Honestly force fields are just so powerful, and the easiest way to improve your PvZ is to just improve your force field usage. Keep practicing.
