why do i see pros killing the neutral supply depot or unbuildable plates at the bottom of their ramps? seems pointless... You don't accidently want to click banelings into the rocks, nor any other unit for that matter during a battle. The rocks/depot are also blocking you from performing sim city with your buildings, in some cases at least. How come Zerg are so prone to having so much minerals build up? I'm Toss and rarely go over 1000 minerals, but when I see some Zerg players some of them have as much as 2000 minerals? Zerg's with good injects can produce armies quite swiftly and Zerg is more of a reactionary race then the two others. Depending on what we see from our opponent we can react to build drones, static defense or various units. As long as we have good control of the map it is rather harmless to stack up a bank.

I play Zerg and my friend plays P. and when we pratice 1v1 he always goes pylon block(sometimes even on 3rd) He usally start 1gate expand. My question is how do i react to this? I usally just drop pool as soon as i see his probe moving to my natural to get lings out asap to kill the pylon off. But after that im clueless so please give me some tips on how i can punnish it. (he dosent cancel but let it build, so he´s behind 100-200 minerals) Unless you're playing at an extremely high level open pool first, you gain very little by going hatch first and it's a lot more dangerous vs the standard sort of cannon push you'll find from ladder opponents punishing hatch first. You'll get your lings out fast enough that you're not particularly delayed by the pylon anyway, and it does effect your opponent if he's unable to cancel the pylon. You can simply grab gas slightly earlier if need be and you'll get your queens out slightly quicker. In addition to this, Zerg armies tend to be limitted by gas, so minerals will gradually build up. Protoss can place a bunch of gateways or do some zealot harass, whilst the zerg equiavalent of getting Zerglings isn't so effective to just do at random points as the game goes on as the supply and larva are being used in a more traditional late game composition. It's the reason you'll see the minerals being used on lots of spines and spores when the gas is all used up in the late game.

I'm sort of just venting, but does anyone understand Blizzard's reasoning with this map? Or is it simply as retarded as it seems?

I noticed that if you have multiple production facilities, the first production facility to make a unit is the first one which was originally produced. Is this true for all races?

Does anyone have experience with this? I'm not quite sure what it is I do wrong. I might press control + #, instead of shift + # (recreate, instead of add?)? I'm not sure that's what I do though, as some of the old units seems to remain in the group....

As far as I know, there is no way to exclude units from a control group. So, you must be creating new control groups without noticing. Control and shift are right next to each other. Just pay attention to what your fingers are doing on the board.

What bothers me is that I actually dont know how to target with Widow mines despite being Terran... I thought you just can cancel their targetting, so they choose a new one. Am I missing something? Thx in advance ![]()

Thx in advance ![]() with the widow mine selected right click on the unit you want to target, have to do it pretty quick though! remember only one mine can try and attack a single unit at a given time, so if you group select mines and select an enemy unit in range, all mines bar one will do nothing until that unit has been hit by the one mine that attacks, then they can acquire a new target.

I want to know if a hellbat drop causes all workers to be pulled for about 12 in-game seconds how much money that costs the defending player

Yeah this would be more of a website feedback question, but there is a thread on doing so here if you use firefox or chrome. There is currently no setting on TL to do this otherwise.
