(Keeping in mind my issue is keeping track of the things that must be done to be "good", I do of course understand the best method is "PLAY MORE") Depends entirely on whether you think playing ranked will be demoralizing or not. If you want a small, microcosmic method of building good Starcraft habits, you might try jakatak's method, where you build nothing but marines/zealots/lings (and the production facilities necessary therein). I usually start out most days with a couple practice games against the AI using this method, gets the brain warmed-up to macroing by alerts, control group management, etc. Generally speaking, I find it pretty difficult to focus on a specific part of my gameplay when playing on ladder, due to it's inherently chaotic nature. If I'm trying to work on something specific, I usually play against AI or humans that I know and are helping me train. Laddering is best for practicing your ability to handle and respond to all the crazy stuff people can throw at you.

You need a tech lab just to get a reaper out. by that time they got like 3-4 marines + bunker :O The reason it's more deadly in hots is you can make them without tech lab and overpower the marines easily.

When reading zerg build orders, does the supply count refer to the supply used before or after plonking down the building? Before. It's called a 6 pool, not a 5 pool for example.

I've been having a tough time fighting off mass hydra if Z player times it before i get collosi production going Your problem may just be a scouting issue - you may want to get in the habit of frequently sending hallucinated phoenix over to the zerg base to check on his tech. In smaller numbers stalker/sentry with good FF does ok against hydras, as long as you choose the locations of your battle well (i.e. making sure you have the bigger concave). That should buy you time to get colossus up. Chargelot/storm also does well against hydras, but that doesn't really come faster than colossus.

I've just been experimenting with earlier aggression for fun. In TvP, I do MarineKing's 2 rax pressure with concussive shell. In TvZ, I bunker rush before backing off into the midgame. But in TvT, all I know how to do is medivac timings. I want to attack more in the first 10 minutes. Or is it just hard to attack terran early because of bunkers and wall-ins? WoL Gold Terran

In TvP 2 rax fell out of style because it is really only effective as a counter to the 1 gate expand. You'll have a hard time vs 4 gate and 3 gate robo. On the new bigger maps, 2 rax often falls short vs a 3 gate follow up to 1 gate expand. In TvT, you take your cc, then double gas. Factory + siege mode with your first gas and you're safe from any ground attacks. The 6:00 scan confirms if you need a e-bay for banshees. I get mine early anyway to get upgrades. You can play bio + medi style, but only if you scout gasless expand. It gets very messy playing pure marine vs tank/marine/banshee all ins.

Are there any tips or suggestions on how I can successfully transition from the early game to the late game. I play as Terran, generally utilizing a bio build (obviously depending on what my opponent is building this varies, but I'm usually very marine/marauder heavy).

As Terran, late game, you should try to be the aggressor, as it takes the longest for Terran to remax. You want a TON of production buildings since money isn't generally a problem due to mules. Try to engage on your enemy's half of the map so if you lose a fight badly, you can still remax by the time they get to your expansions. Remember to add in tech units like ravens, thors, ghosts, and pure bio becomes less and less effective as the opponent's army net worth increases.

It seems like you want a more general answer to how to succeed lategame. There are a few answers to that, but the most important: Macro It's not about sitting in your base and just do stuff, because as a bio terran lategame, you will have factories (if with tanks), starports with both tech labs and reactors, engi bays (unless you already have 3/3), command centers that need to become orbitals or palnetaries, you have a billion barracks' and you need to make scv's. This is a TON to do as a lower league player (I assume you aren't master or GM), and it's very uncommon to have perfect or even very good macro at this stage of the game. But with some practice, you will be able to increase your win% for every minute the game goes on! All you have to do is to focus macro every time you play, for instance, do a safe build, get to mid game, play safe, and just look for his tech/expansions so that he doesn't do something extreme, and then just transition into lategame. During all this you will need to do a few things: Tab/tap - if you have production on same key, tab between the buildings as often as possible to make sure you know when things are close to done, so you can que another one, if you have production on different keys, tap (for instance) 456456456456 so that you can check your production at any time. Make sure you have many scv's so that you have a good income, and then just keep production! If you are below diamond, it's fine to throw a few armies as long as you have a: more bases, b: better macro c: can trade about even. Just keep practicing tab/tap and having konstant production and you'll be fine!

Another aimple question: as T, when deploying drops, i know you can either drop in one spot by pressing drop and them clicking the target. I know you can drop in a line or other shape by pressing drop then clicking the dropship. So, when I want to drop using the latter more flexible method with a larger number of medivacs, is there an esier way to do it than by clickin on esch one serially? E.g. When 4 medivacs want do deploy fast into a base. Many thanks.
