dynwar7: One of the most useful things you need to have in mind during a game is what your short, medium and long-term goals with your build are. It's good to know the optimum food and clock time at which various things happen, but like all battle plans, they never survive contact with the enemy.
For example, in PvZ my standard build is FFE -> 4-gate robo + blink -> 9:30 third -> attack with 3 Colossus. I theoretically have a build that takes me up to about 170 food, but I basically never execute that exact build unless I'm practicing on an empty map, due to getting pressured or seeing an opening to do some damage. But I know the unit compositions that I want to have early game, around the time I'm taking my third, and when I push. If my opponent drops an early pool, my FFE timing gets screwed up, and none of my timings will match what I practice, but I still have a flow of buildings, upgrades and unit compositions that I want to hit the way to late game.
So what is your game plan? What do you want your army to roughly look at at 80 food? At 120? At 200? If you have those milestones in mind, then even if something crazy like a Baneling bust happens, once the excitement is over (assuming you didn't win the fight so convincingly that you can just go kill your opponent), you can just get back on track.

Is there any possibility to promote from gold leauge to diamond leauge?

Yes but you need a hell of a good roll (some close to 100% win rate) for a quite number of games. You would see this in the most cases if you would be winning a lot of games during the ladder lock (and by lots i mean LOTS!) but normally it's not going to happen...

Actually, it can't happen unless the ladder is locked, even with 100% winrate. The ladder will promote you into Platinum as soon as your MMR goes above the line separating Platinum from Diamond, then it will promote you into Diamond when your MMR stabilizes inside of a Diamond offset division.

For whatever its worth, I once took 2 full seasons off from playing and when I came back I was incredibly rusty and placed in Silver. As my mechanics came back to me I started winning just about all my games for awhile and went from silver to gold and then gold to platinum (which is where I had been before I stopped playing). I was in Gold for a very small amount of time, probably less time than I was in Silver. Although as I recall when I did stop winning I started losing a LOT for awhile until I stabilized, haha.

If you watch those tutorial videos from apollo or filtersc, you'll see that when starting from bronze, playing at a master league skill level and rolling all their opponents, they still get promoted one league at a time.

Well, technically you could get promoted through several leagues if you had played very few games throughout the season and then went on a massssssive winning streak on the last week of the season when leagues are locked. His MMR could go through several leagues.
but this is very very very difficult to do, hey still possible

1. Is it ok to play more aggressive? If so, what is the tip to be more aggressive?
I think playing aggressive is good because it improves your mechanics too, macroing without looking at your base.
2. How do I get rid of this feeling that each time I do an early push(10-15 marines), I feel like he has more units and is going to overwhelm my army? If that is the case, I cannot run back because he has already done speed for his lings. So, the best way is to hug the wall and stay and fight? At least the zerg will have to use his larvas for zerglings instead of drones, which is the fundamental thing in xvz right? We have to keep pressuring the z so he cannot freely use larva for drones?

1. As a part of your gameplan, before starting, pick a time and attack without committing. If that time didn't work out, pick another one. Start at some fairly low food-count and keep raising it until you find a timing that works. You don't want to commit to an attack when you're not fairly sure you can win the engagement, but poke and poke. The important things are don't commit, and pick a time before starting and stick to it.
2. If a zerg has more units than you early game you know his economy will be crippled. Save as many marines as you can and exploit your eco advantage. The key is again not to commit to an attack. Send a single marine in first to see how many units he has, if the odds are against you, just take the watchtowers and work on your eco.

I saw a youtube video about slayers.....I think they were trolling or just a misunderstanding, but ....is it true that Boxer's real son is GanZi?
What on earth....? Or were they just joking?
I am not trolling, I really want to know this.
Or perhaps they are like family, that is why they use son-father terms?

It's hard to prove or disprove paternity without genetic testing, but Boxer had not yet entered puberty when GanZi was born, so I'm guessing it was a metaphorical reference.

Hihi, I was just wondering - Is TL TS suited for this or if anybody knows about similar channel as I am describing please let me know: I want to improve and get diamond this season and would appreciate help (not just practice partners, I know about that thread) in the form of some people watching my game and stuff... I will appreciate any help, so if you just know about some SC2 VOIP channel which I can join and see if that's what I seek, be sure to tell me ^^
EDIT EDIT2: Just joined the Liquid TS - there's no room called TL SC2 :O Many games but no SC2? :O Whaat? :O

How much money on average does a tournament make net?

1. When going for an attack, I like to rally my production buildings to a "big" unit like a marauder (early), tank or thor (late). Is there a way to rally production buildings to a medivac without having them jump in the medivac? Conversely, is there a way to rally a medivac to a ground unit and have it not pick-up the ground unit?
2. I have been following filtersc's bronze to masters (1 rax FE, at 10 minutes have 50 scvs, 100 food and do a push). TvZ is my worst match-up ..seems like i run across hatch first or pool-hatch a lot and an unharrassed Zerg will have 3 bases, more food and lots of banelings at 10 minutes. What is a good, simple way to pressure earlier while keeping close to the build?

I was recently told, in PVP, the only thing you can do is 4gate, dt rush or 2 gate zealot rush, I know this is not necessarily true, and 99% of people go robo (I'm not a fan). PVP is the matchup I am worst at and I was wondering if this is actually all that ever works?
Most of my losses vs terran have been when I'm attacking his base, he gets 2 dropships of marine/marauder and kills my base and I try defend it with guys I warp in (but it's normally not enough), but also continue assaulting his base, and most of the time, he floats his buildings off the map and I lose. I was wondering if it would be smarter to bring my army back to defend?
Cheers guys

I am looking for an answer for experienced people in TL regarding being aggressive.
I find myself waiting and turtling so bad long ago. I would wait until almost 200 then finally attack.
Now I have become better. I dont wait until 200, but I still feel I am not aggressive enough.
Surely it is good to be aggressive right? How do I get this mindset to be aggressive enough? This is especially important vs Zerg.

A lot of things work in PvP, it's just that those cheeses are the easiest ones to pull off. I almost never lose to any of them, so they can't be said to work.
About terran, you need to understand that you're not aiming to warp in to kill the dropped guys, you're warping in to kill the dropships before anyone actually gets dropped. Failing that, you need to be able to warp in more than one round. The key to both is map control and awareness, as you need to spot the drops before they actually get to your base.

Edit: Misunderstood question.

It could be much easier answering your question knowing what race do you play..
