Varies from person to person. You will become comfortable if you don't relapse into old habits. And you will likely relapse into old habits if you don't keep up practice. Keep in mind how many hundreds (thousands?) of games you have played that have ground your current hotkeys into your brain. It could take up to half of that total, if not more, to truly become comfortable again. But it varies.

Did anyone watch day9 yesterday and catch day9's bomber TvP build? What I remember is
depot rax CC rax rax refinery 1 tech lab, stim 2nd refinery ebay
at 8:30 either 2 more rax or a third CC.

Hi guys.
Is it true that for Zerg, generally, you mcaro up to have really strong economy, that is number 1 priority.
and then after that, you build whatever units counter the enemy's army composition right?
That is why most zergs are called "droning hard" that is because they like to drone up as much as possible and therefore have a strong economy, correct?

When I pull SCVs to "tank" is there a best way to do that? I just A-move my whole group of units into a base and that works, sometimes it doesn't. In particular the zealots go around the scvs and into my marines which well.. doesn't help a lot

I've been working on basic mechanics lately, and I've seen some people have their CCs all set to one key (say ctrl group 4). But they swap between CCs on the map really fast while I watch them ladder, and I can't figure out how.
Any ideas? I can hit "44" and get to the CC but I don't know how to swap between them on the map. I know I can tab through them, but that doesn't get me focus.

Most good players use camera position hotkeys for each of their bases. I don't know what you mean by not getting focus, if you mean that you need to select the CC, you just need to click it right after you hit your camera position hotkey. If you want to simultaneously select and jump to any CC, you would need to have them separately hotkeyed and double-tap the one you want to go to, but for any race but Zerg there are better uses for your hotkeys than that.

You can achieve this with either using the Base Camera or Screen Hotkeys. With the Base Camera you can switch through all of your Bases. Normally it´s bound to Backspace. With Screen Hotkeys you can save an Area with STRG+F5,~F6,etc and by typing just F5,F6 etc. you will jump to the Screen you safed with STRG+F5... It´s like using normal Hotkeys from 1-0.

Shyatic - It's likely that they are using screen hotkeys to move from base to base quickly. You can find the option to set them up in the StarCraft options/hotkey menu. I have mine set so that ctrl + f1, f2, f3, f4 set my main camera locations while f1, f2 ,f3, f4 take me to the locations after they are set, and I find it works pretty well.

Ah that's it -- perfect
Now about the SCV rushing!

Do people (terran) bind all their production buildings to one hotkey, or multiples?
just curious what tends to be more popular...

does increasing APM increase your skill? I have an average of 80 APM and I'm a high diamond player if I actively try to increase my apm will it increase my skill or should I work on other things first?

I picture AmericanUmlat as an Immortal and Raptor as a roach caught in a forcefield donut now.

No. It's other way around.

I've noticed most pros don't maynard. Why?
Also, why do top GMs in the Korean ladder have names like "lllllllllllllllll?"
|
Ok so hum not really sure if its the good thread for it, but its a simple question so why not.
Why is this so difficult to find Sc2 vods? I mean yea I can type some players name on youtube or GSL whatever but I have the feeling that only a few games are uploaded. Im new to Sc2, I was a bw player for 13 years and every single game of pro korean bw are on the TLPD, why isnt the same with Sc2?
Please help me, I want to watch as most vods as possible to understand Sc2 the fastest possible, im currently high platinum after 3 weeks of Sc2 but I feel its only because of my mechanic because I still don't really know what im doing.
Edit : I forgot to say that I want Vods from GSL Code S or similar skill level players, I dont really like watching foreigners level of game im used to watch the best of the best, thanks!
