i know you can shift-add units into control-groups. Q: What is the corresponding way to take units OUT of a control group?
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Either shift click their wireframe on the command card or shift click a unit that is already in the ctrl group, then rebind the ctrl group

When you're transferring workers, how do you get them to return whatever minerals they're carrying in the process? I've tried doing it a bunch of ways, they always seem to end up having to go all the way to the target mineral patch before they realize they're already carrying minerals :/

Hit D (in grid). There's probably some other button in the regular layout, but it's called Return Cargo or something. Click the patch you want them to go to, then hit D.

OK im new to SC2 but my questions is:
Do I always produce workers from all my productions buildings the whole game? even at all expansions? A lot of my supply is taken up with workers.

When do I stop producing? I know for certain builds you have to take short breaks but i mean more long term, mid-late game.

You can hold the alt key and press the hotkey for said ability (in this case interceptors) and it will set that ability to auto cast.

With Terran you stop between 65 and 75, which is around 3 fully saturated bases with some SCV's building things.

With Protoss I'm pretty sure 70 is the max.

With Zerg you make up to 90 Drones. That is 4 fully saturated bases, plus a few gas geysers. I think you make around 10 (I think) less if you go Ultralisks instead of Broodlords in the late game.

Take the numbers for Protoss and Zerg with a grain of salt. I main Terran so I don't know everything about Zerg and Protoss, though I'm 99% sure I'm right, I might be wrong.

In PvT as Toss seeing Terran early expanding at 4:30 mark w/bunker at front. What is the best course of action I can now take? Exapnd, Tech or 4gate?

You can go for an allin(better with tech like 4gate wp, 4gate blink, 3gate stargate etc) as a 4 gate at the front won't work at all(bunker alredy up and full of marines with scv nearby)

OR

u can go for a 1gate FE then 3-4 gate pressure and fast 3°

OR
u can go straight to tech colossi or ht on 2 bases then expand


either of these will work, is up to you to choose wich do u prefer

I've been trying to change inject style to from the queens on 5-6-7 to the backspace method (changed to spacebar as most people do) how long untill I get comfortable with it? right now it feels weird and queens run everywhere T_T

No, you have to assign a name when you log in to the test server because it's a fresh account on the test server that will be wiped when the actual 1.5 goes live, your live account will likely carry over like any other patch.

Well I use the backspace inject method, and it generally doesn't bother me. If you have your bases connected by creep, wandering queens shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also, you could experiment with mapping a key other than the spacebar as backspace. I use my middle mouse scroll clicker myself.

But changing your playstyle will always feel weird, even if the end result is better than before. So just keep using the backspace method until it feels comfortable, unless you decide that the method just isn't for you.
