Does anyone know what the optimal settings to use are? Thanks! texture low, effects ultra. It was a tip on a day9 daily way back which Day9 had gotten from TLO.

Having a 100 food army at 10 minutes thanks to good macro is way better than saving four stalkers in your 30-food army by spotless blink micro. LOL I love how everyone spots the wooden league AND there LIKE "YOU JUST NEED TO MACRO" I started at bronze; tis true macro you will start becoming comfortable with timings i.e. when certain shit comes or expectations of how much shit your enemy has. Then you get to a stage where your like hmm i can save that worker than starts the micro phase ![]() TIS ALL GOOD FUN!!!! GL you have to stay with it though; this game is punishing for first time RTS players (Thats me BTW) do not give in to RANKING jitters power through sir!!

Opening 12 gate? If your core is building I would cancel it and put a forge. Use your 1 gate to make zealots while you build a canon near your nexus/mineral line. Thats how HuK generally beats it. HerO did a proxy 2 gate on Taldarim inside HuK's main, and he held it with a 12 gate into forge, with a late cyber once he was safe again.

In TvZ, Im just wondering, is marine tank medivac still the "standard" and decent way to play it? If so, does anyone have a general build order for that? I did a search but none of them did a build that I want exactly, which is marine tank medivac. Also in TvP, if the enemy has mass Zealots, mass Ghost is a decent choice since they do so much damage to light units, as much as marauders to armored right? Thank you

What is the easiest way to check and get to the optimal drone saturation? I switched to Zerg and that makes me have more bases and sometimes I get over-saturated, so I was wondering how to have the optimal number of drones ar each mining base without spending too much time. Thanks.

Thanks. If you have 16 drones at a base all of them will work at 100%, the next 8 drones you add will work at like 30% An easy way to check if you have 16 drones is to box your workers at the mineral line, if you have 2 full lines you have 16 drones.

Even easier is to double-click or ctrl-click a probe; full saturation with two gas is two and a half lines. That's 20 workers, and there are two more that are in the gas geysers and can't be selected, giving you 16 on minerals and 6 on gas.

That is, does a zealot's attack count as two, or just one burst? Similiary, a colossus should do 10 dmg, not 20, right? Not sure about colo, but zealot will deal full damage at both attacks, dealing 16 damage total, since these are 2 attacks.

Do any of you guys know if, when you beat an opponent and for some reason the score screen doesn't show you getting points and the win doesn't show up in you or your opponent's match history, does the win still improve your MMR? Thanks.
