I assume you don't need me to tell you to press 'c' as the hotkey for chrono and to hold shift.

How do you deal with being denied scouting information with nexus first into forge? Do you just throw down gateway first if there is any doubt at all that he could have got gas before ~16 supply? But then how do you deal with a superfast scv pull, or even this strat?
Just scouted terran last on Entombed Valley, was met with 2 depots and a barracks at top of ramp, i backed off and dropped 2 cannons, he was in my nat with 6 scvs, 4 marauders and a marine before 5:30 and i died pretty hard, could have micro'd better but im not sure how it would turn out at skill ceiling. Dont know what to gain from analysing replay.

I don't have much experience with FFE in PvT but I believe it's only viable vs gasless terran? Obviously the only way to confirm a gassless terran is to scout it. If you can't scout it you should forego the FFE plan and throw down a gateway like you would normally for a nexus first opener.
That said, it sounds like he proxy marauder rushed you if he is able to get 4 marauders at your nat before 5:30. In general nexus first is considered a build order loss to proxies (maybe not this particular proxy, but whatever), so effectively this is a double build order loss if that makes any sense.

do units attack enemy buildings always on their own?
was just playing single player and my marines kept shooting enemy buildings on their own....
i played 200 multiplayer matches last week and i cant remember they did that one time.
am I just to busy to see it when playing multiplayer or are they just doing that in single player?
or did i hit some good key?

Units and buildings have attack priorities, such that a unit within range of different stuff will attack whatever has the highest priority. Basically fighting units and attacking workers > non-attacking workers > buildings. So if your units are on attack-move, and they encounter a building that has no enemy units nearby, they'll automatically start attacking that building. As soon as an enemy unit comes into range, they'll start attacking that instead. This can be a huge problem if there are buildings between your army and the enemies you're trying to attack, since you can end up wasting DPS on buildings instead of units. You can prevent that from happening by giving your units a move command to get within range of the enemy army, then giving them an attack-move command.

I once saw a post about what scouting info indicated what cheese and early timings. Does anyone know which post that was, and could link it?

As Zerg- if I see terran going CC first with 3 barracks walling his ramp, in the hopes of getting better should I NOT cut drones at 35 and ling bling all in? Or is there a value in learning to execute attacks and builds that I'm not seeing.
Koreans are highly skilled players on average, and it's very much apart of their play style to use a lot of aggression that we would call all in or cheese.

Does anyone know if you get a free name change every season? Or how does it work? I've never used mine and AFAIK they don't "stack" so I should still only have one, but I think I heard somewhere that you get a new one every season. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Q: can any1 explain how i get promoted to the next league? i don't understand the promoting system...

Maybe not the right place to ask thsi but: I haven't found early hellions all that useful versus zerg since the range increase of queens + faster overlord. What about you other terrans out there in platinum and above, do you still find them useful early game? I've had way more success with simple 1 rax expands lately, but then again I am pretty crap at this game so it could just be me ^^

Nope, you only get one. If you use it, it's gone.

I'm a mid/high masters Terran and I have not even the smallest idea of what to do in TvP currently. Can anybody link me to a decent current build?

Hey All, Is a 7Roach/Expand/Lair opener good against early/infinite ling BO in ZvZ?

Hey guys, I'm a high gold Terran. I'm just using mostly 1rax FE vs every race ( filtersc's guide). How do I know when to place turret to fend off muta/banshee?

Scan between 6:30 and 7 minutes to see whether he is going muta or infestors, then you can throw up turrets if mutas are inc.

If their mutas hatch at 7 minutes just a-move your marines into their base. There won't be that many and they'll have to be used defensively. Save the turret minerals for more marines.
Terran APM question:
When you're swapping tech labs/reactors on buildings, do you sit there and wait for the animation to finish, or do you press lift hotkey, do something else, command landing, do something else, and re-assign rally? Swapping buildings really annoys me because there's so much to do and I'm just wasting precious seconds, even if the buildings are right next to each other.
