I figured out playing multiplayer is fun but in fact you dont realy learn anything, it's just that you get more experience.
I heard something about custom maps and stuff?
anyone has some tips? Could you clarify on what you mean by "train yourself"? What are you trying to train? Mechanics? Game knowledge? Strategy?
sorry, i forgot to mention i meant specially Macro

I have a HUGE quick question. My friend has an starcraft 2 account and never uses it. He gave me one of his guest passes. He said I could have his account. Is it possible to delete his account and use the key from his account on my guest pass?

No. You can use the free name-change though.

In my guest pass account I'm in mid-silver where as in his he's low bronze. So it's not possible to just delete his account, take his key and put it in my guest pass?

No, keys can only be used one time. There's absolutely no difference whatsoevet between bronze and silver, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

PvT 1 gate FE into 3 gate pressure against 1 rax FE terran - terran has 1 - 2 bunkers up with marines and sometimes marauder. I was watching TaiLs stream and he does a 7min timing push with 1-2 sentry (1 for GS and 1 for 1 forcefield), 2 stalker and about 4-5 zlot. Question is: The auto repair feature of terran tends to negate this pressure if I decide to engage the bunker as the zlots don't automatically attack the repairing scvs and attempt to bypass the scvs to hit the bunker. Anyways what I've seen TaiLs do is move walk all his units to attempt to surround the bunker > attack move and somehow his zealots attack the scvs. When I do this the zealots still attempt to magically phase through the scvs. Can someone shed light on the auto repair mechanic with respect to threat/do I have to hold position the zealots?

You CAN learn from ladder if you want, it depends on how you approach it.
A special macro exercise I learned was to just load up a game against an AI (of any level you are comfortable vs) where you are not allowed to attack, only defend. Macro up, saturating your bases and making units (idk how good your macro is at present and what league you are, but at minimum you should go for 2 bases).
Your goal is to reach a max out as soon as possible and then, once you are at 200/200, attack to make the AI surrender. Your time then becomes your score, and then it becomes very easy to see your progress.

As terran, when i set down my third, what is the best method of saturating it? should i pull half from main, half from nat? most from main, since it will be lower on minerals? rally the other two bases to the third? Maybe this is stylistic, but i was wondering if anyone put some thought into this.

Is there a way to lock in your race selection? im protoss player and i sometimes end up in a game as "random"with out noticing.

now i have to first double hotkey my hotkey for example rax and then manually click techlab...
X is the hotkey to add on a techlab

It is stylistic. You can rally all 3 cc to your new base, or select half from both to go to the third and keep the rallies normal. For sure its best to mule your newest base at all times. And also you can use camera hotkeys to transfer much quicker.

It is usually locked. The problem you describe is probably from playing random in team games. You'll have to make sure you put it to back to protoss before you hit that 1v1 Find Match button. This has happened to me several times too.

what do you guys prefer, double click units or CTRL-click to select them all?
I double click now but i make a lot of missclicks with it.

If I want to build something far out of my base, and I want my SCV to go back mining again after he finish building, can I rally him to just any mineral field or should this be a mineral field where I have a CC?

I prefer ctrl-clicking but always end up double clicking because of bad habits

Yes, workers will return to the last patch they mined from when they've returned their minerals.

This is just a stupid mindgame I'm just wondering what other toss/zergs think.
PvZ, on maps where the natural gas is easily spottable by an overlord (daybreak, korhal, one on cloud kingdom, etc), how much would it mess the zerg up if you got a decently fast 3rd and 4th gas (like you were getting tech), but as soon as they complete you pull probes off gas in your main, and you followed that up with a hard 7-8gate all-in? // obviously patrol a stalker at the edge of your main
I guess my question is, how influenced are zerg's decision making by seeing a fast 3rd/4th gas? Do they even know what it means or do they just derp and read nothing into it.

It's not a stupid mindgame, but it's fairly high level. Below diamond, I wouldn't necessarily expect a player to have a build refined to the point that they're modifying their timings based on gas count. Which would mean that you just sacrificed 150 minerals and had no impact on your opponent's play. It seems to me like something you would mostly want to do in a tournament game when you've been able to look at your opponent's play and you've established that they respond to 3rd and 4th gas in a way that is totally unsafe against a gateway all-in.
