That's why I've been trying and the medivac just stops.

Is there a reason that lots of pros play with the Green/Red settings in 1v1? Does it create more contrast or something?

Is there a channel for mid-high master people can go to for practice on the North American server?
(Yes I am aware of the practice partner thread.)

personally its easier to spot red on the minimap than any other color...
also in cutom games (tournaments for example) alot of people like to choose green.
When your enemy is green on the minimap it can become extrememly difficult to distinguish the difference between his units and yours (lets say if he drops your mineral line or does a zergling run by) you wont be able to respond in a reasonable time.

idk about a bnet channel, but there is a practice partners thread.
you should check out some of the more generic channels as well such as teamliquid, reddit, playhem.... etc....
here's a link to the practice partners thread (there is a list of master's players here also looking for practice)

I appreciate the effort, but please do not give an answer I specifically mentioned about. I put the disclaimer there for a reason. You are just wasting your time.

The 'Analysing Replays' thread by Plexa, which is available from the Recommended Threads sticky, might be the one you're looking for.

Press [D], (you don't need to hold it; also this is the default hotkey for unload all, you may have changed it), and then click on the medivac. If you have done it right, the medivac will start unloading. Now try it with a moving medivac. Move the medivac, and while it is moving select it, press [D], and then click on the medivac. If you have done it right, the medviac will start unloading while moving. SUCCESS!

Question: How do you deal with early pools from Zerg as Protoss when attempting to FFE? Specifically, what is the general follow up if I sack positioning at my natural to play 1 base into a delayed 2nd while he gets his natural and or/3rd and powers drones. Am I even ahead if I don't take any probe losses but have lost the ability to take a fast natural?

Am I even ahead if I don't take any probe losses but have lost the ability to take a fast natural? depends on the map but generally vs 8pool (or anything faster) you have to sack your low ground wall, immediately throw a pylon by your minerals and make a cannon in your mineral line. try to get a probe out on the map to see if he is indeed macroing behind it.
assuming he is, just do a standard 3gate expand. you will be on about equal economy to him.
on some maps i.e. shakuras, you can hold a 6pool by scouting it in time, cutting probes and completing the low ground wall.
edit: vs 9-12pool on some maps you may need to pull a few probes to prevent a run-by. you're only pulling enough to stop ~6lings as your cannon finishes up around the same time. just make sure you stop them from going up your ramp / out of range of your cannon

cons: it's easily scoutable your expo is really late can't do damage vs bunker hard to do damage if the natural is choked off
vs 1rax FE as long as T doesn't skip the standard bunker timing you aren't going to do any damage to him. your nexus won't even be started by the time his natural is complete and mining. you're significantly behind in economy.
vs 2rax reactor-techlab you should come out ahead as long as you're careful with your micro. focus the marauder (he won't have more than 1-2), kite marines, avoid getting hit by shells. you're about even on economy. the problem is not a lot of terrans do this pressure opening anymore and they really have no reason to if they scout your 2gate opening.

What is the best unit composition as Zerg to use against a Terran going mech? I thought roaches was the answer but thors and tanks just do waaay too much damage to them and my army seems to evaporate :/

and what is a good composition as a protoss against a terran going hellion-banshee-tank-thor? my chargelot-stalker-immortal-HT failed miserably but I'm not sure if it was due to the unit composition or to other mistakes. maybe void rays would be good?

Your composition sounds like a perfectly reasonable response to me. Maybe post a replay?

Brood lords, because his army lacks mobility. Also the enemy units will be busy attacking broodlings and your roaches can do a lot of damage while not taking much. Make sure you have corruptors as well if he is pre-prepared with Vikings or starts making lots as soon as he sees your Broods.

I'm a low plat player and so far I've been using the 3 gate expand into 7 gate pressure as my "go to" build as I need to work on my FF's. I'm not asking for a new build but I'm wondering if there is a way to deal with ling/roach backstabs while I'm aggressing?

Thanks for answering my last question.
New Question 1: How do you properly micro ghosts? I have a hard time using ghost because if he's grouped with my main army, I can't stim without tabbing and hitting stim twice(once for marine, once for marauder) which makes my engagement awkward, and if he's grouped separately and i try to snipe or EMP some units my ghosts get killed first(observers, fungals)
New Question 2: Last game I played vs Zerg, i was ahead in supply and I drop-killed bases throughout most of the game, but I kept losing huge groups of marines to fungals, when I was fighting broods with vikings, they got fungaled. What's the best way to fight infestors?
