I'm attacking a PF, and the t grabs all his SCVs to repair it. I toss down some fungals to kill the SCVs.

Question: Can an SCV continue repairing while its fungled?

Yes as long they are in range of their repair target in the first place.

So I've been goofing around with doing a TvP style gasless 1 rax fast expand into a big upgraded MMM push @ 9-10 minutes-ish against zerg. So far it's worked pretty well (despite being very passive in the early game), but my build is anything but refined.

I'm wondering if anyone else does this? I'm interested in studying replays to improve it further.

TvZ, you think that a 7 roach rush may be coming, and as a Terran you are 1 rax FE:
1) how many bunkers?
2) bunkers in the high ground or can I put them down in the natural when the natural has a ramp?

Hi all!

I am trying to incorporate Nydus into my play, especially when facing Mech. I often hear Day[9] talk about using a double Nydus worm and my question is what do you do with your army?

Do you wait to put them into the worms until they have built in the opponents base to see which one to enter? or do you do half and half?

Some help here would be great! <3

All Nydus Networks and worms are connected to each other. So it doesn't matter where you load, you can unload at any network or completed worm. Also, the units in the network are not killed unless ALL worms AND networks have been destroyed.

I like to open reactored barracks into expand against protoss. When should I take my gas so that I have 50 gas when my first marine pops out. (Then I take scvs out of gas and expand with more marines).

I have a question for my zerg buddies on TL. I really can't understand why in the mid/late game when zerg is sitting on 3-5 base worth of gas, why they don't get overlord drop & speed?

Why? Zerg thrive with mobile harassing (much like a terran medivac dropping everywhere if zerg have BLs / infestor ling). SImply loading some lings / zerglings (Which are expendable in the late game at least) can wreck so much havoc in the terran production facilities & catching ther terran out of position. And everyone knows, hit a terran's economy and he can survive. But hit his production and you can ROFL stomp him 2 mins later (Or immediately). It simply dumbfounds me every time...

3:00~3:10 is about right. I think actually that about 3:08 or 3:09 is the fastest possible Marine.

It's not that I didn't tried.
I tried taking gas between 13-15 having 2 or 3 scvs in gas. But I didn't find a timing where it adds up well.
So I thought maybe you guys figured it out.

This took max 10 minutes for me.

From liquipedia:
(Wiki)Refinery Build Time: 30seconds
(Wiki)Mining gas: ~114 gas/minute

Time to 50 gas = 50 / 114 = ~27 seconds (Rounded up)

Refinery Build Time + Time to 50 gas = 30s + 27s = 57s

Assuming first marine at 3m10s
=> Start Refinery at 2m13s

You probably need to try and fit this with the amount of minerals you have. This is a tool that can help you with that http://sc2planner.com/

How do you fancy drop from a medivac? I see pros drop marines in a straight line as they're moving the medivac, but I cant find the hotkey for dropping only one marine. The only option is unload all, which stops the medivac in one place to slowly eject all the marines, making it easy for the enemy to scout and react.

Hit "unload all", then click the medivac. The Medivac will continue carrying out its move orders and will drop units as it does so.

Alternately, you can click the units shown in the Medivac's info panel, if you want to drop a particular unit first.

This works the same for Overlords and Warp Prisms, so if you're a Zerg or Protoss player planning to post this week's copy of this question for your race, now you don't have to .

Select medivac, press D (unload), click medivac (not ground).
Make more anything.
