Hey there. I'm searching for some livestreams of good terrans who do also commentate while playing and say what their current mindset is throughout the game.
Try DeMuslim's stream, it isn't always on regularly, bt when he does stream it is awesome, and with great insight into what he's doing and why.

I've also got a question but i dont know if it fits in.
Im playing terran lately but im having really problems macroing my rax. For example if got 20 rax, 10 tech and 10 reactor i often get a marine in my tech or 1 marine less in my reactor... so i do it like i did in bw: Click every rax and press aa/d. Is there a better way?

Tech lab and reactor buildings used to be on seperate "tab" groups (like OC and PFs are now for building SCVs) so this was less of an issue.
The only way to do it now is to limit your first wave of production to how many you can produce (hard to explain).
E.g. build 20 marines (from the 10 reactor rax) and 10 marauders. The queue will be perfect -- all reactor rax will make marines and all tech lab rax will make marauders.
If you build 21 marines instead of 20, 1 of those marines will occupy the tech lab rax and you'll only have 9 marauders being constructed.

okay thanks, so i need to count my rax or i just spam d first and then a.

Okay thanks a lot so i need to start counting my rax or make marauders before marines to preven an overlapping

How does one actually mass snipe?
I tried holding down R and spam clicking and it doesn't work, and I can't seem to get the hang of queueing them ether.

What is the correct response to 2 port banshee as zerg? Is it to tech to anti-air like hydras, festors, or mutas or is it to get queens and spores? In the game in question, I scouted the 2 port banshee when the first starport was put down and I went queens and spores (badly placed spores, but that is a different discussion) and lost. I know I can place the spores better (or all-in before it hits since I scouted it so early), so did I react correctly or should I be going in a different direction?

You want to select the ghost(s) that will be doing the sniping then hold shift and click R as many times as you want to queue each ghost to do.

I believe if you scouted it early enough and placed the spores to where they cover your workers/gas then you should be ok. The teching is a possiblity but you'll want to be at least 2 base with enough gas econ and lair tech (may hit before you can do so) to support that kind of reasoning. Hope that helps.

Can you open with a cc before rax on great maps against any race? Or is there a race that totally counters that.

I noticed in a few recent games that when I get surprised by my opponent I am suddenly forgetting/ not doing stuff. I miss injects, forget upgrades, forget drone production and generally fumble around. In replays I notice that I'm usually not even that far behind, if at all, yet still I fumble. Does anyone have any useful tips on what to do if this happens to me? Aside from: "Don't fall apart!"

Six Hellions in your mineral line? You're only allowed to defend if you have injects running and all your larva are spent. Tanks seiging up outside your nat? Hit your evo chamber hotkey and make sure you've got ups going before you attack. The reason all that stuff tends to fall apart is that microing your army becomes your absolute top priority during a fight, so you have to just force yourself to make keeping up with macro your top priority.

Could someone link me to the PvP opening build Sase was using at the Redbull LAN where he gets a 2nd gas before core? or post the build order for me?

Something came to my mind as i won a game on the ladder against a 4 gates.
If 2 units come in range of a bunker at the exact same time, are every units in the said bunker targetting the same unit or is there some sort of randomness in the targetting?
|
Assuming no major unit losses occur, how long roughly should it take a Terran to max out in game time?

Although this has been talked about very much already, when I saw the GSL rule page, it said you were allowed to bring a mouse, keyboard, and install mouse drivers onto the computer. Does this mean that you can't use keyboard drivers? Just curious!

I was watching/thinking about Day9's video on mechanics - where he talks about "the tap." He uses T as an example and it makes intuitive sense for T. But does Protoss need/benefit from a tap? For protoss, we have the warpgate icon in the corner, so should I be tapping through 4-6 [4: Gates 5: Nexuses (Nexii?) 6: Robo]. Is it necessary or helpful for my mechanics?

Indeed it is, as soon as your warpgate's cooldown is finished, warp another round, try to do that if you need to learn to macro better, same goes for probes and upgrades. You can try to train against the computer by never chronoboosting your probes and launching as many upgrades as you can while building an economy. Build nexus everywhere, probes and chronoboost only upgrades. By that i mean as soon as you see something not chronoboosted (little green icon top left of the building page should be up if its chronoboosted). You can train also while four gating. Just try to chrono your gateways as often as you can and warp unit as soon as the cooldown is finished. Taping is always a good thing to do for any race.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but there are 584 pages of this and my search capabilities are limited let's say (i haven't found the thread about that), so my question is why is it better to kill the cannon and not the pylon? i've seen everybody target cannon first and than pylon. Why?

Cannons have less health. If you're talking about situations involving 2 or more cannons and an "Artosis Pylon", I'm not too sure. Maybe because Protoss can much more easily recreate a pylon to power the cannons.
A question of my own: Does anyone know where the thread is about roach vs roach with upgrades? It had a table that showed how many hits you needed to kill a roach with +1 attack, +1 carapace, +1/+1, etc.
