I have switched from Zerg to Protoss and my overdroning problem has turned into an overprobing problem I think(This seems like a good problem to have). Most of the games I play in every matchup I get up to 94 probes on 3 bases at ~16 minutes. This seems bad because if I have 70-75 then I could have more units for a stronger mid-late game push. What number of probes do pros stop at in longer macro games? (I'm guessing it is just 3 base economy and keep transferring probes to the next expansion after it runs out). Between 70 and 75 is the optimal amount. Obv more for Zerg due to building/drone loss but for Protoss you really shouldn't be breaking 75 simultaneous workers.

With terran the macro oc gives you energy on mules more scvs and mostly u can fly your oc to another base. If toss could warp their buildings to another location i would say its good idea but as it stands out now its judt wasted 400minerals

Are there any upgrades that I should favor? I've been getting burrow, but that hasn't really been helping me. I just feel like I can never get enough drones out before their push arrives.

For strategies, I always hotkey the key units, so if I'm doing a Thor rush, I put 6 SCVs on a hot key even before the first Thor is up. For macro problems, I practiced to the point where I'll ask myself whenever there's a lull in action if: a) Have I built workers? b) Are they on gas? c) Do I have enough supply to expand my army in the next production cycle? d) Have I upgraded?

I've been getting burrow, but that hasn't really been helping me. I just feel like I can never get enough drones out before their push arrives. It depends on whether or not the warp-gate all-ins come after a fast expand or not. If this is just a 4-gate, 2-3 spine crawlers and speedlings are usually enough, you should not rely too much on units alone because sentries' force fields will prevent their full effectiveness. Just make sure to engage with your units where your spine crawlers can attack or have some of them wait in the back for a flank when they are in spine crawler range. Against a 6-7 gate push after a fast expand (typically after forge FE), you want to have burrow for the roaches, and preferably burrow move so that you can heal quicker as well, since your opponent will lack the detection to continue the push. This means you should get lair tech, which is fine, since stargate play following a forge FE is so popular. You would want to sacrifice an overlord around the 7 minutes mark to find out which is happening.

I'd check out any of the featured terran streamers, especially sterling, trump, and jinro. rgnArtist is very skilled and plays a lot on the Reign stream, which is featured. Another entertaining streamer is Debo, who is not featured. Trump and Sterling are known for talking extensively about their play and strategies.

Well if you are going for the "standard" MMMVG then the best way to engage would be to have a concave set up and EMP the Protoss' energy/high shield units (in order: HTs Sentries Archons Zealots) Try to position your vikings so that they can hit the collosus without taking too much fire from stalkers and kite back with your bio to avoid zealots and AOE damage. Once the collosus are down and he has very few storms you can stim and attack into his army.

I don't know if a baneling will kill a larvae or not (seems like larvae/eggs are invincible when attacking them with MMM), but if it can, then it would depend on the number of larvae and their spacing as a baneling does less damage the further away from it you are. EDIT: Just tested. A baneling does kill larvae within its AOE. With more than 5 larvae, the outer most larvae will usually survive the hit.

I don't think it can because of a larva's armor, baneling attacks only ignore armor against structures. And bane splash is uniform thoughout, it doesn't matter how far away the target is.

I have no idea if it's efficient, but in ZvZ every larva counts...

will the 2 drones hatch from one hatchery, or will one hatch from each of the hatcheries?

No one has yet to figure out the exact mechanism that determines the order larva are morphed in such a situation. Empirical testing shows that the selection process is roughly uniform in the case that your hatches are on a single hotkey. There are, of course, cases when that won't be the case (e.g., 1 hatch has 1 larva, the other has 7).
