But getting a tech lab and starting stim is earlier than getting a twilight council and starting blink, and then terrans dont always get stim first. TO answer your question accurately it is a game by game basis theres no way to assume that a Terran will have stim earlier than a protoss will have blink. Only thing that can be said definitively is that in a standard game stim is more accessible since all it requires is a tech lab on a barracks while toss' has to build a Twilight Council.

When I scout spire close to finish, and knowing that I can no longer 6 gate push Not an answer but a simple question of my own inspired by yours: Why is this the case (if it's true?) I would have thought that sinking a lot of minerals/gas into harass units like mutas would make Zerg more vulnerable to a straight up push.

Do i just use up all chrono on the nexus until the warpgate research is started? If you are talking about the Protoss vs Zerg 3 gate sentry expand, I go 9 pylon (scout), 14 gate, 15 gas, 17 pylon, cyber as gate finishes, 2nd gas as you get 75 minerals with constant probes. I do 3 chrono's on probes, 1 chrono on fast 1st sentry, then the rest chrono on warp gate. Faster warpgate = faster hallucination too (assuming you start it as warpgate finishes). The timing of chronos are after 1st pylon finishes, then again as the last chrono ends, then a 3rd chrono on probes after placing the 15 gas.

Question: Can a GSL player use a fancy keyboard and mouse, and remap keyboard keys to mouse buttons etc, use fancy remapping via the drivers of their hardware? (not macro; as in: each action still performs only one action, not a sequence of actions, which is allowed by Blizzard) Here's what GSL rules say about that, which doesn't seem to forbid it in any way, as long as you can setup your hardware and hotkeys within 15 minutes: + Show Spoiler [GSL Rules] + - Every player must arrive at the stadium 15 minutes prior to the game. - Every player gets 15 minutes to set up. - Every player can use their own equipments. - Equipments are Keyboard, Mouse, Mouse pad, Ear set, Mouse driver. - Every player must use the PC and LCD wide screen monitor provided by GomTV. - Every player must use a ear set. Every player must wear a head set provided by GomTV over the ear set.

If you are remapping things to be more comfortable to you or take certain shortcuts then I suppose it is an advantage, but certainty not an unfair advantage.

It's not really an unfair advantage in that regard and it's not like there is any sort of huge mechanic breaking thing you can do with this.

I've had people drop mules in between my tanks to have them destroy one another, but when I run a marine into a group of banelings, it looks like they are all still there except the one that goes boom. Wouldn't the splash damage ruin them all? Am I crazy or what? Bane splash doesn't do friendly fire. I believe siege tanks are the only units in SC2 that can do friendly fire.

It's sort of a generic question and it depends on one's reaction to the enemy, I suppose the question is more about the opening, i.e. are there any openings that work for any matchup? Or does it only really go up to the first pylon (I know that even with the first pylon/gate there are many variations, but I was just wondering)?
