What about a nexus on gold patch? how many structures can it hold? Your gas income will still be the same, so you won't be getting out any more stalkers / sentries. Expect an extra 2 gates for Zealots though. In terms of robo, well, unless youre looking for more warp prisms, no extra robo : )
That's wrong. Assuming both bases are fully saturated, the income is about the same (gold is slightly more, but definitely not enough for 2 more gates) since gold bases typically only have 6 mineral patches.

@brachester You can still read forums and PM, you just can't post on the forums.
@Hero1 Quite a few protoss builds there are short periods when taking a faster expansion where you need to cut probes to get up production. It's not the "best" economically, but it can still be better economically than expanding later if you need the units to defend. Also, sometimes due to the way mining seems to work in SC2 if you don't cut probes to get your production up, you'll get to a point later where you won't really be able to properly spend your money. I'm not an expert on these builds so I don't know if it's 100% necessary, but it can definitely make sense to cut probes for short periods of times to get up production.

As protoss how can i preassure or defend or do really anything against terran who makes 20 scv and then spams marauders of 3-4 rax?
zealot? kiting stalker? lol sentry? doesn't come in range of FF and i have no dps.
It's the only "style" i'm having constant problems with.

3 gate zeal/sentry, learn to use forcefields. 1 base colossus > any 1 base heavy rax build void ray if he's pure marauder

Assuming there are 6 patches, yeah. I was assuming 8 patches, so I guess I may as well call you out to be wrong here...
But I see your point. You don't see 8 gold patches on a lot of maps.

Thanks a lot

What's a good Zealot:Stalker:Sentry ratio in PvT against MMM? (Before & after collusi)
Also, how do I hold of a 3rax marine/scv all-in? I'm currently finding it impossible.

Heavy zealots, light stalkers and enough sentries to get good forcefields off. There's no "golden ratio". Zealots will be tanking and dealing the majority of the damage, stalkers outrange the marines and do sniper damage while MMM is trying to kite and the sentries are use for GS and FF to support your army by cutting the MMM apart and forcing favorable engagements.
Against 3 rax marines/scv allins, a forge -> 1-2 cannons at your ramp with Zealot/stalker support, gosu stalker micro, or very very fast sentries for FFing your ramp until you can get enough units out of your gateways to fend it off.

With the recent nerf in the pylon radius, are protoss players still able to warp in units in the little corner by the in-base expansion on delta quadrant?

P7 Dignitas.NaNiwa < Tal'Darim Altar > T5 mouz.ThorZaIN
What do the "P7" and "T5" stand for?

Protoss @ 7:00 position on the map. Terran @ 5:00 position on the map.

Don't trust this 100%, but based on this random post: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=205108¤tpage=2#35 I think you can still warp in, before I believe you could warp in a few small units.

That seems about right, so thanks

When I watch the pros streams, they seem to move their viewing screen a lot faster than I do. They don't click on the minimap and they don't double click a hotkey to get to it, it's as they're moving the mouse to the corner (like I do) but the screen moves faster for them. What's the secret?

If you hold down the MOUSE3 button (middle mouse) and drag, it shifts your entire screen in that direction, similar to the motion you would make if you were to drag to the sides to shift your screen.

There are settings for screen scroll speed. However, it is recommended to use this method of moving the screen as seldom as possible. Use it only for short distances.

In PvT, when you are fighting with a stalker-snetry-colossus-zealot ball against MMM+Vikings how should you micro? How to place force fields and what to target with stalkers? Also, do you target something with collosi?

Does the number of games you play effect how easy/hard it is to raise MMR?
I ask because Ive been top ranked diamond in my division forever now. I was #1 in my division and on a 15 game winstreak, with 10+ of those wins against Masters players, and still never promoted. This isnt the first time its happened either.
Now that said, MMR is an average if I recall, and I have over 3000 games, so does that mean its going to be damn near impossible for me to move up?
