This is a replay of mine (I'm Ryuk, the lucky winning player - Diamond league) Often PvP Plays end up like this and it's also my usual opening vs. P. Well I have to say I don't win so often, sometimes the other P beats me with better micro/macro I don't know really.
I always try to save Stalkers with blink or walking back, but often i have too few stalker to do so and after a critic beaten stalker i have an army with half dead stalkers.
Plz watch the replay and tell me how to improve :-) THX

I'm only in top Gold, but I'll help in anything I can. I'll write this as I watch the replay. =D
1:30 - You should Chronoboost just after you hear the sound of your Pylon warping in. This is a very small thing, but it can give you a tiny bit of an advantage. That CB was idle for too long, getting probes out a bit sooner can't be bad!
3:40 - You didn't have to leave his base so soon. You knew he was getting a Zealot, as he had no Cyber out, so you could have scouted a bit longer. In addition, there's something else you could have done. Cancel the Assimilator just before it finishes, and before the Zealot gets close. Then start it again. Cancel it AGAIN before it finishes or is taken down. You'll also keep him off gas for a while, at half the cost (since you'll lose 25% of your minerals each time, for a total of 50% of the Assimilator's cost)! Of course this requires good control, maybe even adding the Assimilator to a hotkey so you can check it often. Notice the timing, how his Stalker gets there comes out JUST before your assimilator is destroyed. Another small, small thing that can help.
6:00 - Those stalkers should be closer to the ledge IMHO, or at least one of them. That will let you start firing sooner if he attacks, and possibly get off some free shots on his forces if he decides to push.
7:20 - That's what I was talking about. It's also a good idea to approach the enemy base avoiding being within firing range of his ledge. This will both keep your shields up, and not give him an early warning of your attack. That Stalker didn't have to drop to 38 hitpoints!
7:30 - Imagine if you had an observer to blink into the back of his base, going straight for the Probes. Totally worth skipping a single stalker IMHO, and probably wirth getting over that Immortal. Sure, Immortals are boss against Stalkers, but you could have killed him so much sooner there! Then again, he killed off the Colossus so quickly, so feel free to ignore this.
10:20 - Focus fire with the Immortal. He's much better against stalkers than Zealots, and they were in range either way! But of course, that's hard to do in the heat of the battle.
These are just small things (and I often make those very same mistakes myself). But I hope it helped!

Thank you very much. I'll pracitse that :-) further opinions. btw: the chrono boost at 1:30 i do not do because i do not like engine idle and chrono boost hold longer then the 2 following probes...

It would be a lot more instructive if you posted a replay where you lost, in this game you had an opening advantage going 3 gate blink vs a zealot-heavy Colossus rush and microed your stalkers well to win the game. So strategically there's not a lot to say about it.
Definitely get the observer first so you can see up the ramp and blink into his base to harrass if there's an opening.

no, chrono boost is long as 2 following probes .)
|
Few things I noticed:
1) You stopped making probes.
2) You have him contained in his base, perfect window to grab your natural. You kind of need to anyways, because you cant really support 4 warpgates and a robo off of 1 base.
3) The robo was hugely underused. You coughed out one Immortal and that was it. If you're going to build it, use it. Ideally for a few observers - that lonely Immortal just felt kind of lost and out of place to me.
Good micro on the stalkers though, well done!

@ Mithlondor: Thank you. i'll try doing it better next time and post my next losing game ;-) @uhlyk: well the first probe is already finishting when your pylon at 9 is coming up, so your eleventh probe is starting to come out when the pylon finishes and at 11 you have to build gateway. If I did so as you mentioned, chrono boost were only for the 11th probe...
