Reaper harass is one of the backbone strategies for Terran. So lemme guess you don't want to play against the following "cheese" builds? -Reapers -Banshees -Hellions -Thor Drops But you would like to play against M&M to learn the counter, despite it being an inferior Terran build to begin with? I guess Terran should just make marauders, and marines if the opponent makes any air units. Anything else is just silly nonsense that isn't worth practicing against. Right now I'm low Plat player (~1150) and I have huge problems with macro, expanding and preventing expansions, army composition, multitasking. I haven't figured out good build yet as well. I say "bg" to identify that particular game was not helpful for me, I did not practice any of those components but wasted time instead. It is a game that depended on a single mistake made/not made. Reapers, Banshees, Hellions, Thor Drop are all valid starts. Outcome of the game is decided on micro, transitioning, army composition, finesse of the builds, strategic decisions of the players. But 8 Rax Reaper into Bunker rush is not. Outcome of a game involving such strategy relies on single RockPaperScissors BO mistake, or single scouting mistake, or single micro mistake. I repeat that I have nothing agains cheese starts. In fact I did marine-scv allin 20 times (going 18-2) to prove that it was OP in the past. I'm not willing to try Reaper Bunker only because it does not work vs terran and I would need to leave in 30% of my games.

I say "bg" to identify that particular game was not helpful for me I'm sure your "enemy" will realize this for your next game and do something to help you.

I often get paired against same opponents and they don't cheese in next games and we have conversations about strategy sometimes.

Reapers are especially strong on kulas. You could also try doing some kind of roach aggression. Roach aggression would be strong against a reaper opening. Cancel hatch, do a roach build, break down his rocks.. add in a few ling, so you have a mix. That may be a good retaliation. Most Ts will try to expand while going reaper

If you want to go hatch first you should delay his barrax time, this is posible in 2 player maps sending out 2 drones. Always use a drone to scout possible bunker at your expo, if he completes the bunker your expo is going to fall 90% of the times. Once you have 2 queens and some lings he cant do anything with them.

The guy I played typed "bg" at the end, and then said, "actually that was a terrible game" and then rage quit. Edit: ahhh nvm I didn't build a bunker. Slow motion i know this is a bad day for you but... no.. you are not the only terran that use to rush with reaper:| Bad news i know
