what map was it on? if its a map that takes ur overlord too long to scout, use a drone to scout to see if hes going fast reapers if so, delay ur expansion and get ling speed, once u have that, u can deal with reapers a lot better | ||

The game on Kulas I killed his first SCV with the bunker at like 85% done, then he got a second one eventually after his first reaper killed my drone+queen+maybeling army (I sent 2-3 drones, cant remember exactly) and that SCV finished the bunker and he hopped in and killed my Hatchery after a bit x_X It was prob gg from there on out because I had a ton of minerals, low gas, no tech. | ||

if he has a bunker up, get 2 - 3 roaches, they kill bunkers in like 2 seconds. While getting roaches, tech to lair to get hydras to kill banshees, then when bunker is down expo... | ||

I just sort of was looking for Terran PoV's, like the guy I played presumably was good but not one of THE best; I was curious if reaper+bunker is something, if executed 100% perfectly, is able to prevent FE. I saw a 20+page thread qqing about bunkerreaper on the SC2 general forums, but I don't take those threads too seriously ;P | ||

O_O Uhh no like, I attacked with my queen + drones and lost my drones but killed his SCV and weakened his bunker, and then I got some lings + queen to finish off the bunker then all my lings died in the process, then he kited my queen (easily) and finished off my hatchery, went to the ledge to avoid broodlords. I felt like I either had to get that expo up or it was gg, so I tried again, and then sent my queen/lings to protect it but my lings were easily killed because he had like 4 reapers by now, and then my off-creep Queen got raped also ;P and then I left. | ||

Remember, fast reapers means he cut scvs; if he doesn't get to kill more than the stray probe/ling he is behind. Spoiler tag for those that haven't seen the HDH ro16 vods yet. + Show Spoiler + You should check out the games featuring Ret in the HDH ro16, he gets suprised by reaper bunker at his nat in game one and the terran stubbornly tries the same thing in games 2-3 and gets punished for it. | ||

I also say "bg" after such games and explain what I mean if opp does not understand. I don't mind you playing whatever start you choose, but just don't want to waste time practicing how do defend another cheese. | ||

You won't be playing this game very long with that attitude.. Reaper harass is one of the backbone strategies for Terran. So lemme guess you don't want to play against the following "cheese" builds? -Reapers -Banshees -Hellions -Thor Drops But you would like to play against M&M to learn the counter, despite it being an inferior Terran build to begin with? I guess Terran should just make marauders, and marines if the opponent makes any air units. Anything else is just silly nonsense that isn't worth practicing against. | ||
