you are the reason why the game is still alive from the BW days, without mapmakers spending so much time learning and perfecting the maps with the metagame. The game would never become as epic as it became BW that is. Competative gaming was born in 1998 and you guys raised it. And sc2 ppl (the lame ones) are the relatives who are fighting over who gets what from the will. BW dead (when kespa transfered in that sense) User was warned for this post

also, in response to the redditor who was complaining about the 8m2g aspect, this is what I said: Please note it is a competition to give "amateur" mappers to get their maps tested, so it's not a "crazy" map competition per se. Also, it's a "guideline" so that people who are starting out can have an idea, and it's not a strict restriction. IF you have a great reason behind the custom mineral arrangement, the map will still be considered. However, maps that have custom mineral amounts but are not well-thought through will have a disadvantage. eg. Icarus

I feel that they're good enough competitions but just didn't manage to win in the past. If I get a chance, I will look into improving them or making new maps though. I'd go for the 3rd one.

Work on the third one. Perhaps a bit on the aesthetics (which are good but hard to differentiate height) and some general proportion work. I like that one.
