Alot has happened inside The Planetary Workshop since it has been founded last summer. Since then, we have seen both changes in the metagame and new trends in mapmaking. In addition to that, we have also finished a large number of new maps over the past couple of months (Our database now lists 69 maps!). Therefore, we have again decided to pick a number of maps that we thought were exceptionally well done and suited for the highest level of play.
TPW maps have already been in use in large number of tournaments, including the NASL and ESL. We sincerely hope that both players and spectators have enjoyed our maps in the past and will also enjoy our new selection of maps.

We have also made some changes to our roster. Recently, the talented guys from the MCL mapmaking team have decided to join TPW. You may already seen some of their works, such as Twilight Peaks (TLMC finalist) or Hysteria (Motm Season 1 winner). We are very happy to welcome them in our team. Also, because of timezone differences, IronmanSC has decided to leave TPW and has joined the ESV mapmaking team. We are sorry to see him leave, as he has been one of the original team members, but we wish him best of luck!

Are you gonna add a B- Team now? I think you should totally do that. Feels like Ragoo would fit in there perfectly.
Also, why is OMF still in the pool? Has it done that well in the past? Just asking because I haven't seen it beeing played a lot and it's by far the oldest map in the pool. I'd rather see something like Neo Aztec in there, since you've never had a 3p map so far.
Am I the only one who thinks all these above par map-making teams need to talk to the peepmode and icjug people, I think that would benefit both the mapmakers and peep/Jug makers equally...

It's sure old but doing fine and designwise still not outdated (just shows how defined and well made that nearly 1 year old map was back than already). Currently working on a redux with low ground mid and 3rd (and char tileset). Also removed one base there so it's much more straight forward, Barrin would hate it though.
We also got a bunch of good new maps that are currently beeing playtested, so it might happen that we gonna remove OMF anytime in the future (but why drop a map just because of the age itself?). It's true that we lack a 3p - but we might change this, too

True but within the team we call them 2in1 or tag them as special maps. Should maybe have made this more clear on the pic

True but within the team we call them 2in1 or tag them as special maps. Should maybe have made this more clear on the pic

We are actually looking to make some of our most popular maps available in Peepmode. I for one am super stoked about checking out Concrete Dreams in free cam mode!

Concrete Dreams has a Green Tea AI version on EU, and I think we should be able to put Green Tea AI on a few more maps too, but it might be problematic to bring all to the US server as we have a limited number of slots there.
For peepmode, it would certainly be fun to be able to run king of the hill and so on, so we will look into bringing Peepmode to one or more of our maps.

You might see Burning Altar, as that was one of the top 7 in TeamLiquid Map Contest. No idea if Blizzard looks at more maps than the top 7, but it might be a possibility.
Also, Some of the maps listed in the OP are a part of NASL's map pool for season 3 (Artifice, Damage Inc, Odyssey and One Must Fall).

We already have some people who can host on NA, we have an account that is for hosting and the EU player. We also(me and some other NA member) can host maps. We are thinking of having something, but it's still only talk. People helping us for cast and stuff could be quite useful for the future.
Maps look amazing, especialy like the BW remakes. lol'd at that hidden table flipping, any other little easter eggs in your maps? I've seen things like artosis/tastless bots and GSL will sometimes have their name spelled out via textures.
