Ok, first alpha version is online on EU server

Please Ignore non Multiplayerunits. I will remove them later.
Please look if any abbillities are missing or dont work.
SCVs can cast FF for sure.

at a Mod, plz rename this Thread to: "[M] Force Field Funmap" thx

Zerg can for example use Overlords, too.
I made the energy reg half of the reg of normal caster units for non caster
and each noch caster unit can only gather energy for max 1 FF.
In addition to this the energy for non casters starts at 1.
Clearly meele units will have a problem, but I'm thinking of adding tunneling claws
for all zerg meele units later and making the tunneling a bit faster then normal,
but this is just a first alpha version and I only start to learn how to use the Map Editor

All maps in the current Quick Match map pool are Forcefield Funmaps :D

well, the first step for me is to get the ability on all units and removing bugs which relate to FF from the game. May be I will work on the AI later, but my first goal is to make it playable for humans.

What do you guys think should all zerg units be able to cast ff while borrowed?

Ok, the first version is online:

Metalopolis Forcefield Funmap

All units can do FF, but some abilities seem to be deleted or got lost.
Please post all abilities, which dont work properly or are not featured.
Non caster units can reg energy for 1 FF at max, but start at 1 Energy
and only have half of the standard regspeed.
Sentry got faster reg and higher max energy.
Plz give some Feedback, if it is fun to play and may be at some replays.

if I were to play this I'd make a rule of no non-trasport air units, just so that it didn't turn into complete no ground units and thus not have the awesome related to this

I thought so to at first, but it is not like you got unlimited forcefields and the energy doesnt replenish fast for non casters, and your units have gather the energy first...

another thing:
Any1 who is interested in playing some matches on the map with other TLers, leave your
[Server], ID and #

Later when the Funmap is nearly bug free I want to import the data to a mappool and host a tournement. What will you get if you win? You want a specific fun map, I will create it for you or if you are a map creator too I will help you with your project.

P.S.: JimmyJingle will publish the map on US and SEA but I dont know when it will be online

Hi, I just had a go against the AI on NA. Was fun, used stalkers to trap enemy workers in the mineral line
Nexus chrono-boost was missing.
I may/may not be on in a few hours to help test some more! Thanks for the map!

Phoenix harassment would be INSANE!!!
phoenix are really fast so you could just forcefield the workers to trap the and pick them all up or you could forcefield the minerals to stop them from mining and just retreat...
and yes 6 pools would be op...
also mass marine against Brotoss and Zerg (MASS FORCEFIELD!!!)

If you use create game and search for Metalopolis Forcefield Funmap, you should find it.
May be try only Forcefield.

Wieird... if I search for Metalopolis forcefield funmap I don't find it , but I find it looking for forcefield only... Forcefield funmap works but it's in the 10th position , with maps like Funamp_124421 ,lava fun map Coc's Funmap before it , bnet search algorythm sucks...
