So I often got the problem that I don't really know what textures I want to use. Usually there's maybe 2 or 3 textures in the texture set that I don't like or don't fit in for the motto of the map. Usually I would just make a stripe of every texture and change through all the sets but I kinda got tired of it so I created a small chart.
I'm not even sure if anyone else has that problem too, maybe I can help someone and else there's no harm done.

Update
As promised you can find the chart for the cliff types here. As you may know you can use 4 different cliff types at once. Like for changing textures inside the current tileset you just go to Map -> Map Textures -> Modify -> Cliff where you can use the "Add Value.." symbol to add cliff types from other tilesets. So without further ado:

Thank you! This is a good way to visualize what works together well. Are they in order?

Oh I totally didn't know about that thread. Sorry man. But thanks for linking, probably gonna use that too the next couple days ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
And no, it's not exactly the same order as you get it in the editor. Stuff messes up if you change it a couple times^^ Well that is if you were talking about the Textures themselfes, the set's are in right order (just alphabetical.)

Thanks for this! Been using Barrin's thread too recently, but when you want to scout a texture and you're not quite sure what you're looking for, this is great for quickly finding something that could work. Cheers!

You shouldn't upload large pictures to Imgur, it will compress them (without telling you) and make them all blurry and shit looking.
Use another image host, I recommend zippyshare.

Hey, so while working on a map I noticed that I really neet a different type of cliff than the one that's set to the particular tileset. However trying through all the existing tilesets to find the best fitting one is a really ong task so I decided to create another chart, this time containing the cliff types of every tileset. It's arranged in alphabetical order, also used in the first chart / the editor. You can find it in the OP.

Cool!
It'd be nice if they had the name of the cliffset next to them though :p
