I can't really find anything wrong with it. I think for tournament play the expansions with odd numbers of gas geysers might be a little controversial but I really enjoy playing on this. | ||

just interested to hear, if there are any comments on the last changes before the tourney starts? is there something we should specifically look at or problems that occured when you played on the map? more feedback will lead to better maps... | ||

I can't find Decline on the EU-Server . I tried searching for "Samro", "samro", "Samro225am", "Declince", none returned any results. Now me sad . | ||

- one instead of two holes in middle of map - chokes into natural are less long - more space at the crossing of pathes from nat and third to large ramp down into centre I expect Decline to go back online on US today or tomorrow! | ||

Played finally Decline today, the map looks just great. Especially love the extra gas - expo where one has to shell some rocks first . But looks like you reuploaded the old version without the larger ramps to the gold which made the map easier for zerg to play. On Close Position spawn, i feel like the triple gas expo is to easy to defend for terran and protoss due to the tight chokes. On the one hand, this is kind of crucial to make the rush distance longer. Here's an idea which might help: The ramps to the gold just like in your update, but the gap of water is replaced with double destructible rocks which are linked together just like on scrap station (maybe with 1000hp instead of 2000?). This way the rush distance is still a bit longer, but once the rocks are destroyed it allows for quicker pushes, but also makes the triple-gas expo much more open. This way Zerg can destroy those if they spawn close position early on to prevent P/T from defending this expo too easily. Another idea that came up was replacing the double rifts in the middle with a single one. This would create two big areas to fight one which are connected with two fairly big chokes giving zerg a bit more space to maneuver, but not to much to make it a no go area for Terran and Protoss. Dunno if those ideas are viable, but i wanted to toss them in to discuss. I look forward to your thoughts on them . | ||

actually you idea of one hole instead of two should already be implemented... (see update march 1st) actually i tried with Drs between the two triplevespene entrances but found it.. hm strange, somehow i did not like it for some reason cannot remenber what it was... thanks for your feedback! I will really have to work on some big update for Decline in March. | ||

you can either search for "Decline" or "Samro225am" to find the new version. Old version was taken down. I will do the same with my other old maps, but not before april. | ||

Sorry to bother you again. The new map is up, but one can't pick his race any more. It's set to terran and one's unable to pick another one. | ||
