oh yay someone noticed it I did port MavercK's broodwar units into that map at one point. That was many versions ago, but I can do it again some time for a private upload or whatever; I still have the version with one geyser per base (but two in the middle of course) ready to go. Peaks of Baekdu^H^H^H^H Crossfire is a good map for it though I wish Blizzard had done more of those

I'm really sad that Blizzard didn't put in updated models for the old units. I could have sworn that they said they were going to. The Lurker model I've seen is pretty sweet. But Arbiters, Defilers, and Dark Archons would look awesome with shiny graphics.

Btw those dragoons look awesome.

THe most recent reaver is a little rough. (pixels linking the reavers parts are unfinished looking) but the entire principle looks excellent.

I mean everything. That reaver may look fine and dandy to you but it really is the sentry split in half with collosus parts linking it together. Now where the sentry overlaps on other parts of itself and the colossus it looks crude. you can see that, well, for example where the little red lights are lining the bottom of the reaver some of them seem to overlap eachother, and the whole thing looks slightly.... off. The shaders also look weird as the little crooks and nannies of the reaver should have dark shading because they are hidden between the different parts of the reaver. Forget what I said about pixels. That probably is the resolution. but I feel the shading and the design of the "lights" running along the bottom could be differently designed so that they didn't overlap so crudely, or eliminate the top row of lights. It just doesn't look smoothly grafted together in some area's and that it could be more polished.other wise the basic idea looks great, don't get me wrong.

I removed the cockpit and retextured the model. I also finished the normal map.

I did take a look at the old SC1 models for reference, but they were very low poly and the art style didn't fit SC2 very well.

The animations aren't working? Did you label the animations on the timeline? They need names like "stand01" and "move01", etc.

Yeah, but it's easier to model and texture an unit to fit in SC2, than to retheme all the existing units in SC2.

Hmmm, so the model exports correctly, but the textures don't show up. It's just a matte gray color. Does anyone know the photoshop dds export format for SC2 textures, or why my model has no texture in the map editor?

Edit: it's the dds texture type, I dunno what it is.
