I want to play this so badly on fighting spirit but im not able to load it up correctly in the editor to publish it privately.
It asks me for account authentification but it tells me login data is not correct.

next version changes so far include
Broodlord attack actually works
renamed to Guardian

All attack speed values ported exactly from BW
some splash radius values ported (archon, corsair, storm)
(did you know corsair did 25% of it's damage in a 100 pixel area? a radius of 4.3)
storm now does it's 8 ticks of 14 damage over 7 seconds instead of 4.

BTW, Corsairs and Valks hit exactly 1 target with 100% damage. The 100% splash damage area is irrelevant and they have their own splash damage type for that reason, so removing the 100% splash area is actually going to match the BW behaviour.

This gets a little bit more complicated with valks, since if a valk is attacking a single target it will deal 8 times by 6 damage to that target, but if you add other enemy units around the main target, it will actually take less damage, since the rockets are dealing 100% damage to the closest target in range and that's not always the main target due to the missile spread.

This is pretty awkward, so when you port valks it would be better if they just do 100% to the main target and then the apropriate 50% or 25% splash to other targets. They may even need a nerf, since they will be no longer affected by the sprite limit.

Is it possible to do so that you can only mark 12 units? Also so that you only can have 1 building per controlgruop. This will make the macro/micro as it was in broodwar; alot harder.

I saw you made so that the Broodlord/Guardian morphed from the mutalisk. Is it possible to make the Corruptor/Devourer aslo morph from the mutalisk? And ofc change the corruptor attack to the devouers attack?

i dont think i'll re-integrate 12 unit control groups and remove MBS...
it's fine as it is. frankly the unit clumping is as much of a disadvantage as an advantage anyway
devourer is like the valkyrie and other units atm. it's very low on my priority list.
my other project is nearing a beta release and i need to work on that more than this currently. so progress will be slow for the next week or two.

Great conversion so far! I noticed while I was testing it out as Terran that I couldn't repair my buildings with my scvs. It said they have to be mechanical for repair to work and buildings only had the "building" and "large" types. Also, I noticed that with attack upgrades, if the unit has explosive/concussive damage, you add the highest number to all 3 attack values i.e vulture has 20/10/5 atk and you add +2 to all with each upgrade. Shouldn't it be +2/+1/+.5 with each upgrade to account for the way the sc1 engine did attack differences by % instead of the sc2 bonus dmg system?
I've only played as Terran so far, but everything seems to be going pretty smoothly! Keep up the great work and I can't wait for the next release (whenever you can spare time from Elemental TD)!

hi there for some reason nobody seems to ever play this map on EU server.

is this the epic 100%-accurate-broodwar conversion i have been waiting for since sc2 beta or is it just an enhanced sc2 ? sry but im too lazy to read 18 pages of posts.

The radius on stasis is ridiculously small. I tried to stasis a clump of 7 tanks and only 2 of them where hit, and they were all right next to each other

Random Edit: you should make an official thread on the B.net froums. Just to spread game around and to get more people interested in it

With regards to mineral mining a couple pages back, have you tried using high-yields only? This can imitate BW's 8-per-trip more closely, and you can start off with 4 workers so supply counts also match up.

had a great time playing today with Ret. I see someone already posted about not being able to repair buildings and also Ret posted about the stasis. Everything else seems good so far aside from what you haven't gotten 2. I'm really loving this you totally get the broodwar feel from playing this and i believe that was the whole point
