you can select whatever you want and then a trigger cuts it back to 12. this is delayed like giving a unit a move order. so it can be cheated if your fast enough or cause confusion as unit selection changes post selection.

A lot of SC2 mechanics would be much harder to use with BW restrictions. Warpgates simply do not work without MBS. Having the 12 unit selection limit and BW-style larva morph would make larva management with Queens quite different, though it wouldn't be too impactful. Terrans will have an easier time scanning since scans are bound to the Orbital Command instead of the separate Comsat, so that frees up a few control groups. It would be really hard for Zerg players to deal with the 12 unit selection limit, especially if they rely on mass Zerglings, which suck compared to their BW counterparts. I also imagine that it would be hard to manage multiple Spine and Spore Crawlers without MBS.

Just a little dissapointed that it didn't worked like in BW - max units in SC2 is 200, not 400 (or maybe 600 ![]() (Remembering the days when I used to teleport a pack tanks in siege mode already) Yeah, those were the days! ![]() ![]()

Thats what I thought at first, but my weak Googlefu turned up nothing so I thought it was a new custom game. So it is neither and just that buggy higher res SC2 thing? Sad times ![]()

What if you used some kind of validator that made nothing work until that trigger has run? Like editing the move command and stuff like that. It would be a messy fix, but it would make it so that lag is lag and you can't issue commands when it lags, rather than being able to cheat when it lags.
