Flavor, perhaps? ;3
I voted "no" without even thinking about it. Blizzard and GOMtv are both insane and I really hope people realize that.

didn't they try this with the gom hosted foreigner tournament. That failed pretty hard, I mean the tournament was good but i dont think many people paid for watch it and vods were up fast
Of course 90% of people will not pay to watch a stream of players who are for the most part unknown to us. There are so many more tournaments that it doesnt really sadden me to not get to watch this one
I'll stick to watching Trump, BigT, and all those other guys who commentate smaller tournaments for free, thank you very much.
That would be a big HELL NO from me.
No, I'll be watching a restream and downloading the VODs when available... for free.
just curious, who payed for the blizzcon stream this past year? i bet lots of WoW nerds wanted that grunty doll.
WTF is this BS Have these People not made enough money? i mean seriously wtf are they thinking what a bunch of tars SERIOUSLY! ill watch a free one even if its on korean b 4 i dare pay a single little penny to watch a game im in shock they would even try to make ppl pay RACIST koreans get it free but we dont WTF
I would absolutely not play for the entire season, nor the VODs in a million years.
Now, if the semi-finals and finals have some serious hype to them, like two of the ultra big names, or some new, up-and-comer, then I might consider it, although it'd still be ridiculous to stay up for that shit.
I really think GOM.Tv is fucking up on this one if they decide to go through with this charge. at least offer VODs/ live games for free in low but watchable quality, and offer HD streams, behind the scenes footage, interviews, tips, etc. for people who would be willing to pay for that.
Public outcry has worked in the past (rarely) with Blizzard just look at real ID shit. I think maybe, just maybe if they realize they are likely to lose 90% of there viewers they might change their minds on this. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.
Either way there are always "alternate" methods of watching this without paying a cent to these greedy bastards.
Have they completely lost it? I bet they have.. Capitalistic bullshit. Free stream or die.. I'd rather watch it in korean and spam nuke to commentate over it if need be lol. No i will not may 50 bucks for watching GSL when i can watch it for free :S, actually either way i wouldnt pay.
I don't even have the money...
No, not only is it way too expensive, but they charged other people 50 bucks for a "premium stream" and promised "premium users" extra content that NEVER CAME. Very very disappointing.
This is absurd. Absolutely not.
Why did I drop $90 bucks on this game (that's right folks SC2 is $90 is Australia!) and now have to pay more money to watch others play a game I already own? I love the game and I love watching it, but shit man I can turn on free to air TV and watch professionals that are paid millions of dollars play sport, FOR FREE. Can someone source what Blizzard are smoking please, cuz I sure as hell want some.
maybe. I really want to see it but I'm just a broke college kid
Dude wtf, i think buying season tickets to the NFL, or a ufc match on tv or payper view, whichever the case is fucking cheaper... they cant be serious something like 19.99 would give them a much higher viewer addience

A recent Team Liquid poll quizzed SC2 Players about their age. Some 25% of people are within the 18-24 bracket. Some 12% are younger. Only About 20% of people are 24+. SO are you telling me that Blizzard implementing a pay per view system is a good thing for their target audience. Imagine asking your parents for more pocket money so you can WATCH a game being paid! I remember when I was younger it was hard enough to get mum to BUY me the fucking game. Blizzard is alienating its fan base, and driving people away.
