There must be more to this story. It's just too absurd. It'd be impossible for someone to not be able to see these problems so there must be something that addresses them, or something wrong with our understanding of the situation.

Haha its more expensive than my fullHD cable pack and internet bill combined. I was more than willing to pay, but the amount is just bonkers. 50 bucks each month/season is not worth it. Especially since I am pretty sure that the quality will be very low.

If I was to pay 50 dollars each month for watching SC2, it would have to be an HD channel, that broadcasted matches, programs, discussions about sc2 24/7.

But, complaining aside. I really wonder were they got the idea to charge that amount? I am rather certain that there is no market research behind the price. As you can see that most on TL are willing to pay something.... just not that much.

I highly doubt the "payed" stream will be ad-free and EVERY progaming stream so far had a free (low quality) option.

IF there were a free stream and an option to pay for advertisement-free high quality stream I'd propably consider it - but getting charged for one single broadcast (and its comparably expensive to PayTV over here too) in a young scene like this? I cant support that.

Gom - you can make way more money if you can sell advertisement space for >20k foreign live viewers than having a view hundred charged viewers, dont you? Please stop cripple yourself...

Anyone who pays for this is an idiot no 2 ways about it....you can watch Flash and Jaedong play in the MSL/OSL for free but they expect people to pay 50$ to watch a tourney for a brand new game. LMAO
