If EG can afford to pay HuK a huge chunk of change, that's fantastic. More dudes living the dream. Congratulations to him, and he should absolutely go for it. -Cross Agreed

And after all, the concept of HuK, IdrA, and PuMa competing together in Korea should spark at least a little bit of intrigue in even the most ardent of EG anti-fans. EG House in Korea finally coming to fruition? OMG. EG.

When a talented player's contract runs out, there's always a bidding war. 99% of the time they go to the team who's willing to pay them the most. Everyone involved understands a business and the fact that it's nothing personal. In fact, when your favorite team loses a star player, people are angry at the team for not paying them what they're worth, not the player. If anything, people should be happy that esports has grown up enough that something like this can even happen. The fact that EG's willing to pay HuK enough money to make him not resign with Liquid means it's probably pretty significant, and I'm all for any SC2 player getting that kind of a significant salary. It doesn't matter what team they're on. Way to go HuK for making a good decision as far as your own life is concerned. Fanboy backlash or not, financial security is damn important. Way to go EG for pushing esports forward. The more you're willing to pay players, the more other teams will have to start paying their own players in order to keep them around. It's a good thing for everyone in the scene.

I think HuK would have gotten even more if it was an auction style and liquid may be more satisfied with the result that way. From what I've heard the number huk is getting is supposedly 187,000$ for around a 1 year contract. I doubt liquid could come close to matching that if they wanted to.

After he starts winning a little he ditches them even though they provided the practice environment he needed to improve. That's exactly how I feel. What's worse is that practising with EG's players will probably bring HuK back to Code B level in half a year or so.

His PvP might suffer but i would imagine he is still on good terms with MC and inca if he needs to practice PvP what? 1 Puma, someone who failed to qualify for GSL is better than Nada, TOP, Ensnare, SuperNova and TheStC? All Code S regulars? And IdrA's zerg knowledge won't really be as beneficial as he is losing TheWind as a coach.
